This was an enjoyable listen. Regarding Aus being caught between US and China, it looks like they are breaking hard for the US. I read a very interesting book called 'China Panic' which highlights how Aus is claiming to stoke fear about authoritarianism in China and their influence in Aus and becoming more authoritarian on its own (crack down on dissenting speech etc) while enabling the Chinese influence they keep scaremongering about Eg: Chinese international students, or property buyers, investors in mining. But I guess it also depends on which sections of Aus capital come to dominate.
