Some of the bass layers seem very "out there" as something I would not design for that riff. Are some samples "failed" versions of bass sounds that became later reenforcing textures or harmonics from the same project as in not imported bass?

So cool and inspiring to see some of my favourite songs broken down and how many versions/experiments it can take to get to the final "right" version. Thanks Nik another wicked tutorial love the way you guys layer ya sounds that sound layered under the main riff sounded like steel pans haha great to see the level of small details you guys go into proper going in that is i always learn loads of new things when i watch these wanted to ask layering that many snare samples or noise etc how do you keep it all in phase ?Thanks again really enjoyed this one !

awesome video Nik, love the you talking about the arrangement process. Absolute pleasure to see your guys writing processes. don't suppose you would ever show us how you make that drop down bass or any similar sounds in future videos. Love them punchy bass sounds.
