This is so good, thanks for the tutorial. Learnt lioads from this. Love that old BC sound and hearing how you made this with that in mind. bigups!

Hi, i think it would be fun to revisit an older track. And point out what you would've done different if you would've made it in 2021. (something like choke). Also an approach to lead/pad sounds would be interesting.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll keep it in mind. EQ is an incredible tool...but I never really thought to devote an entire tutorial to it. Hmm.. N

Thanks! Will keep that in mind. I love those drums too...N

I would really appreciate a tutorial on how you use analysers more. Specifically span/pro-q/ rme totalyser and where you place each instrument.
agreed about the mid / side eq stuff

Hi Nik. Great video, thanks for the insight into Running Blind. It is a great track and the breaks and warping bass lines are pure genius. After looking at the instances of Q3 you are using, I was wondering that if at some point you might be able to do a tutorial on Mid / Side EQ and how you use it. It seems like it is used a lot in your work and I think it would be great to get an insight to your use of it as a production and mix tool. Thanks Kieran

Love the details in the track! If I ever make a bass or cool sound i never reason with it in the same way as you guys seem to get in the habit of, really useful to do. this is really clever stuff, might have to think about what im doing a bit more!
Hello, people. I am excited to be in this place!

Tasm tutorial please!
very good! this gave me a lot of insights that I hadn't really thought of yet. I always thought the drums were a break made in Superior Drummer, because you tend to work like that a lot of the time. Was suprised to find out you went the classic way of sampling a funk break! Would love to see a similar track walkthrough of your Arrakis Remix or Exodus
thank you for digging this up! I imagine that must be a hassle with something going this far back. If we're digging into the archive id love to see a breakdown of exavolt or another one from out edges that seems to stray further away from the dnb sound :) love those boomy ass kicks :D

Another brilliant tutorial its an honour to see you guys processes when you are making tracks like running blind great to see how you get reese basses to work with raw sounding drums top notch as always Nik .
One of my favorite Noisia songs of all time, such great reeses and heavy hitting frantic drums. Great thanks for picking this one for the tutorial
Tyler Carson
Good tutorial! Would love to see a walk-through of your songs with Joe Seven. The vibey minimalism mixed with some of my favorite drums of yours is a great mix of sounds that I would love to get the BTS of. The drum sounds of Hand Gestures are almost ASMR-level rhythmic. Motion Blur also hits on that as well. Keep up the great tutorials!

Could you show how you make tasm sounds from scratch?
