Dev Log 11-Mar-2023
🕑 Added 2023-03-11 08:31:42 +0000 UTCHello, Hello,
I'm a bit late with this update--I had an appointment to get some ink stabbed into me during the time frame I usually post the weekly update and by the time that was done, I was completely exhausted. But here I am now, so let's get to it.
The good news is that I finished writing the story. The bad(ish) news is that it's currently standing at 23k words, which is 15% more than the maximum I intended and about 30% more than the previous release. That being said, it came out nicely and will require only some minor edits. I didn't think it would extend so much, but I got a chance to set up some conflict for the next release and I took it.
Image-wise, it wasn't bad. Not as many as I usually do, but that's because...
Animations: 2 animations have been set up and rendered, bringing the total animation count to 10(double the last release).
Additionally, I started doing a first post-production pass on the images(fixing poke-through, artifacts, etc.) and got about 70% through.
Next week, as the story and code are done, I'll be focusing fully on images and the last few remaining animations. If I have any downtime in between, I'll try to finish the post-production first pass.
Hope you have a wonderful week!
