🕑 Added 2023-01-13 15:58:26 +0000 UTCHello, hello,
It's that time of the week again, so here's the latest update:
On the writing side, I've finished a considerably large scene and have started setting up the investigation scene.
Speaking of the investigation scene, I've finished designing it and I think it'll be well-received. I designed it especially so that it doesn't become frustrating. There will also be a possibility to skip it once you finish it once for people replaying the game(I want this as an option for all non-story scenes if possible).
On the image side, we're currently at 375 images, which is less than I was hoping, but that's because...
Two animations have been created, of 6 seconds each, and another two have been posed. The last 2 would have also been finished by now, but I messed something up and need to get back in to fix it, which I'll be doing later today.
Once those are done, the second hangout scene will be completed. Onto what's next:
During the weekend, I'll be writing and coding the investigation sequence, and leaving the animations to render overnight. After that, I'll start posing and rendering images for the final hangout scene. As that one is just as long, I might not be able to finish it next week, but I will try to get the still images out at least and leave the animations for after.
And that's about it. I feel like we're getting near the halfway point for this release, but that's just an estimation.
Hope you're having a wonderful day and that you enjoy your weekend!
