Dev Log Update 23-Dec-2022
🕑 Added 2022-12-23 16:05:12 +0000 UTCHello.
It's been a hell of a week. Both in good and in bad.
We've reached the magical number of 250 total renders this week and have finished a longer scene. Work on rendering the first hangout scene is underway and going pretty well.
As I was hoping, writing has been great and we're nearing 10k words. This is both worrying and satisfying as it seems the release might stretch out longer than I'd anticipated. We'll have to see how the rest goes.
I've finished the phone app UI and managed to make it look nice, while keeping to the look of the rest of the UI.
After finishing that, I implemented the code for texting. Don't worry, it won't be a huge deal, I just wanted something basic to increase immersion and switch things around a bit.
Overall, progress has been good, despite some... unpleasant events in my personal life.
Next week, I'll keep writing and rendering. I may also possibly start designing the investigation sequence, but I'm not sure I'll get to it yet.
Happy holidays if you celebrate and I'll see you right before the end of the year.
