Dev Log Update -- 02 Dec 2022
🕑 Added 2022-12-02 15:00:26 +0000 UTCGood Mornevening,
Since the last update, I've focused on writing and have written 2/3 hangout scenes for the day. This brings us to 7000+ words and very near half of the intended wordcount. Unfortunately, according to my outline for Day 2, we haven't reached the midpoint yet. Depending on how long the next scenes are, we may be looking at a 20k final worcount, but at this point it's just speculation.
I've also been designing a phone UI for text messages, but there's something off about the way it looks and I can't seem to figure out how to fix it. I could use just standard rectangles, but I'd really like it if the phone UI would fit in with the rest of the game's UI. I'll probably have to get back to that later.
Render-wise, it's been slower than last week, but we're past the 100 render mark, which means we're about 10% done with them for this release.
Today, I'll be posing more renders and I'll start building the environment for the next scene to be rendered, which is quite a big one with a lot of moving parts. Next week will continue with much of the same. I'll use the weekend to write and the rest of the week to output more renders.
Hope you have a great weekend!
