So, what I consider a simp is someone that has a fantasy of their ideal woman and sees it in potential partners, they tend to get overly attached before appropriate. The potential partner picks up on that energy and sees it as ingenuine because they haven't had the chance to build that kind of connection where it would be appropriate.
