He moved earlier this year to Columbus with barely $20 and began starting to pull himself up. He is... literally the most amazing person I've known in a long time. He has no car, lives 10 miles from work in a horrific neighborhood, and recently was excited to be given a raise and new position that requires him to bike home since the buses don't run. 10 freaking miles, much of it up hill, five nights a week and he just wanted the chance to get ahead. He was struck by a car Monday night and broke his leg, his new bike, and now he is facing mounting hospital bills, has no insurance due to his newness at the company and has no paid time off to cover it. We started a good fund me in the hopes we can help him cover some of his costs and get him to an area closer to work where he has a shore commute and will be far safer.
If you can help, please help. He is like a little brother to me in many ways.
