What Is Israel's Role?
🕑 Added 2023-11-07 22:47:21 +0000 UTCIn this episode I look at the true role of both the Zionist project and the later state of Israel in the US imperialist system. We start with a look at how Zionism came to be a part of British imperialist settler forces and why before moving onto examine how the US developed this.
As it is the 106th anniversary of the Bolshevik Revolution our outro music tonight is 'And The Battle Is Going On Again' a Soviet Patriotic song from 1974.
Composed by Aleksandra Pakhmutova with lyrics by Nikolai Dobronravov
Performed by Leonid Smetannikov, Joseph Kobzon, and Lev Leshchenko
With thanks to Irish Partizan for the musical suggestion

Great contribution about Israel as an Anglo/American imperial project. I wonder how class and colonialism interact, both inside and outside of Israel. Who are the Israelis in the illegal settlements? What about the relation of class and anti-semitism within and outside of the jewish communities? I realize it is a large topic. Thanks for your efforts.
