mini text post as a prelude the next video post/transmission
🕑 Added 2024-08-14 02:50:59 +0000 UTCHey all, this isn’t really an update on anything yet, just a note that I’m currently working on the Yames transmission/video update for Plastic Spouse Interrogation. It will be more in-depth than the other stuff I’ve shown, like I’ve actually pretty much got things together enough to show you a decent “vertical slice” of what gameplay will consist of. I haven’t really shown anything like that yet, I’ve mostly been focusing on different sections but with this next video I hope to show how they all congeal, how the systems work together. Of course, as I’ve mentioned many times, there’s a lot to discover in the game, and I want to leave a lot of it for you to discover, but I will try my best to hint at some things while keeping most of the mystery intact.
As I mentioned in the discord, I’ve really been grinding getting the last parts of this game done. Here is what I’ve said verbatim:
"i remember when i was finishing growing my grandpa! there was a certain point in development where i was just going through fixing all the stuff i thought was working but either wasn't working or hadn't been properly finished (like i had worked on it some and then went "i'll do this later" and then the later came) ...it was like this very labor-intensive, plodding ahead towards the goal phase. i feel like i'm there now..."
So I know I’m close, there’s just more work to be done.
I hope you all are doing well, sorry for a relatively boring text post, like I said I will have a video up soon.
Yours In Games And Laboring,
Yames
