Heroes University H update 0.1.6.3 - No more save files

We have added a new feature for players returning to Heroes University H that allows them to continue from where the previous update left off without the need to use save files, as was until now.
Now they will only have to select the "Play" button from the main menu and the option to start a new game or continue from the last content will appear.
You can download it from the original 0.1.6 update link or with the following shortcuts.

Hi, save files older than version 0.1.5 are not supported, and the new option allows you to start from the beginning of the sports festival, or just where the 0.1.6 update starts after *spoilers*.

If I’m a few updates behind, does that mean I can’t start from the beginning of the festival and instead I’ll have to start over or skip ahead? Or can I use my save file and these are just additional options?
