Progress Report
🕑 Added 2023-03-14 18:52:02 +0000 UTCGreetings, everyone!
Well, I finally got sick again after almost a full year without even a simple cold. And now I have... a simple cold. Nothing to be alarmed about in the slightest. It's not even hitting me very hard, leaving me only slightly reduced and with a sore throat and sniffles. Nothing that prevents me from working, though I'm not entirely up to my regular effectiveness.
Anyway, what did I do this past week?
On the Supermodel front, I finished the piece of music I was working on for version 2.0. It ended up roughly 5 minutes and 30 seconds long, which kind of took me by surprise. This track is meant to play while on the deckbuilding screen, and it's calmer and more relaxed than the tracks you've heard so far. I will preview the new track at some point before the release of 2.0, but not yet.
More importantly, I almost wrapped up the work on Long Live the Princess version 1.0.1. Right now, it looks like there's only one more thing left to fix before I can test this thing and push it out the door for good. As mentioned before, version 1.0.1 will be free for everyone, so there will no longer be any paywalls for this game, just like I always promised. Still, as much as ever, I need your pledges with Supermodel in such early development.
LLtP 1.0.1 contains no new features or noteworthy content except for a fan-made Brazilian Portuguese translation. It's a straightforward bugfix and polish update, so don't get too excited about it. I've taken this long to create it simply because I wanted to give players enough time to first discover and report issues with 1.0.0. The last thing I want is to have to push out another hotfix right after this one, though there is no way to fully protect myself against that. I want to be able to focus 100% on Supermodel, so it will be good to get 1.0.1 into your hands.
And that's it for this time. I'm going to go blow my nose and then get back to work.
Until next time!
