Amidst the innumerable demons and devils that populate the lower planes, cinder brokers are a unique breed that choose to deal almost exclusively in business with elemental beings. Armed not only with impressive bulk and sharpened wits, these curious beings have an understanding of the Plane of Fire that suprasses almost any other. With the endless conflicts between their fiendish brothers, Cinder Brokers have no shortage of clientele, especially when they're willing to deal with both sides.
Torch Bearer. Due to their nature and work, cinder brokers are generally on excellent terms with elemental beings, particularly those based around fire. As such, they serve as perfect middlemen for those who seek assistance from such forces, handling the negotiations and translation (for a fee). Though these services do not come cheap, those who are in need of a cinder broker’s aid are often willing to pay the price.
Planar Key. The biggest secret to a cinder broker’s success is the manner by which they gain access to the plane of fire with ease. Fusing their own form with that of an elemental portal, they act as their own gate to summon elemental beings. As many work their entire lives to master planar travel, cinder brokers closely safeguard their techniques and magical formulas by which they accomplished such a feat. Weaponizing this privilege makes these fiends deadly in drawn out battles, as they slowly welcome more and more fiery allies to their side.
Unbiased Negotiations. If there is one thing cinder brokers value above all else, it is their spotless reputations. Well-spoken, professional, and above all; fair. Unlike their more devious cousins, cinder brokers work to maintain amicable relationships with their clientele as well as their prospective hires in order to foster long-lasting relationships. They hold little to no judgement towards those in need of their services; all from the most holy of priests to the most depraved cultists are welcome to sign on the dotted line.
The sound of crackling flames fills the air in time with the opening portal, followed by the stench of sulfur and ash. Through the gate exits a massive metal gauntlet, crunching into the earth below before a pair of thick, scaly feet do the same. Searing eyes stare forth behind a pair of small spectacles, before a shriveled hand unbefitting of the rest of the broker’s mighty frame extends itself. “A pleasure to make your acquaintance. I understand you are in need of some assistance for ‘garbage disposal’, is that correct?”
