I'm Sick!
🕑 Added 2024-05-19 05:04:51 +0000 UTCI used to never get sick. Now I feel like I get sick a couple times a year.
I'm kind of bummed about it because I was supposed to go do my portraits at a gallery opening tonight with a bunch of friends.
But now I'm just here working on this painting, drinking some kind of tea (I never drink tea,) popping Halls, and continuing my rewatch of Curb Your Enthusiasm.
One of my favorite types of Curb episodes are where Larry accidentally does something good and readily accepts the praise for it, knowing that it's misplaced glory.
Here's the update on that painting
I think it's really getting close.
Here's a picture of how my pallet looks.
Happy May 18th

I did have a NyQuil fueled dream last night. I don’t remember much of it but I remember the main insight was that the reason there’s so much chaos in the world is that the Bible doesn’t have any stories about how to survive in a jungle environment.

Get better soon, on the plus side your painting is pretty awesome, quite like the pallette too.

Oh no!!! That really sucks Parker! 😖 Maybe it’s your body telling you to slow down and take moment for yourself. It sucks, but sometimes we forget to so that until the body just gives us a big ol’ F YOU and crashes. Don’t forget to drink a lot of water & get LOTS of rest if you can! If you can find some Elderberry tea that’s good for being sick too! Lemon and Ginger for the throat! (Huge tea drinker here lol!!!)🫖☕️ Painting is looking awesome! Ever get any inspiration off of NyQuil? LOL.😂 Feel better though!!! Hope the sickness is short lived!!🖤
