Build 5 Progress Update (and a couple of other announcements)
🕑 Added 2024-06-11 22:57:54 +0000 UTCHi friends! It's Bowser.
I haven't updated you in a while! Been very busy. Long story short, I had to attend a work conference over the weekend, basically meaning that I haven't had a day off since last Monday and won't again until this upcoming Sunday 😅.
It's not all bad, though. I've been able to get all the writing done for Build 5! I'll be honest, there's a few times I was stumped during the writing process, but I think I've hobbled together something great that I hope you all will enjoy :3.
Next step is working on the final stages of editing. Then I'll take my lines to the voice actors and start integrating the script into RenPy. All the sprites and CG's are done, so we're on the home stretch!
As some of you know, I'm bringing ChoPro to Anthrocon! I'm hosting two events. One is an FVN Fans & Creators Meet Up. I'm also hosting a panel, "What are Furry Visual Novels and How to Make Them"!
The reason why I bring up all three of these things is that life's keeping me very busy and I do not believe I'll be able to meet my goal of having Build 5 out to all Patrons before Anthrocon (July 4). I've been busy busy with work and convention plans. I wish I could make more time to spend with ChoPro, but I don't think I can reasonably pull it off.
So, here's the new schedule:
I will do my damndest to get a review copy for Lydian tier before July. This will have all the art, most (if not all) the voice acting, there just might be some missing polish in the software departemnt.
Patreon final copy will drop in July, available to all tiers.
Public version will drop late July or early August
Quick note, Merch Drop 3 will be announced very soon (maybe tonight). I have the new Pride Pack all made up, I just need to finalize all the graphics and make the announcements.
