This is my first time reacting to Zutomayo or ずっと真夜中でいいのに。 In the best way possible, listening to an ENTIRE ALBUM: Jinkougaku. What a joy I felt listening to this... This band is for sure sticking with me from now on!

from what i know, acane writes all the lyrics and general music direction then helped by another composer and other members for the complete arrangement. but yes, people in japan often appraise her as musical genius. please do checkout more stuff from them, thankyou.

Amazing, I guess you cannot go wrong with almost any song in this album! 🔥

Also, then the vocalist has a great musical mind, that's so great!

Well that makes me curious about their previous albums then, even if I really fancy funk, the rock jazz concept you talk about sounds dope, thank you!

My favourites are Hanaichi Monnme, Time Left, and Inside Joke. Summer Slack which is a "city pop" song also comes very close.
Kousei Arima
Just to add an adicional fact, Acane, who is the vocalist and the main permanent member, is the composer of every song from Zutomayo. Also this last album is the funkiest, but their starts where more rock-jazzy where the piano had more prominence. Nice reaction.

Really enjoyed checking this out with you. Zutomayo as you picked up has many jazz and funk elements blended with their pop sound. My top 3 from this one are Mirror Tune, Stay Foolish, and Inside Joke. Thanks again my friend for checking out this wonderful album.
