Hey everyone, the time has come!
CaptainVerse Part 2's release date is finally announced. I would've liked to release it this month, but given there are only two weeks left I'd rather keep it on the same schedule next month.
Hope that little intro whet your appetite for what's to come. Similarly to Part 1 I want to keep the mystery, so don't expect too many teasers, but only for this initial Version. From version 2 onward Dream Sequences and Weekly Updates will be back, and all the more relevant.
So without further ado:
Estimated Release Date: 06 September 2024
Estimated Early Access: 01 September 2024
Estimated Beta Access: 29 August 2024
This time around I'll also be taking the "Estimated" part of the release date a bit more seriously. I will still aim for monthly releases, but I always find stuff I want to edit or improve up until the last day which often leads to some rushed work. I want you to receive the best quality I can output, so the release date my shift by a day or two. If I ever do finish early, it might release early as well.
Additionally, you'll find a detailed walkthrough to Part 1 attached. You'll see not too many choices matter, but I decided to go for the PDF instead of a Flowchart to explain how some choices don't take you off paths, but open up different scenes or dialogues.
Lastly, as we transition to Part 2 you can expect some darker moments. Part 1 was me testing the waters and trying out a less lighthearted theme, and Part 2 will be me going all in. After all, I'm not doing HI3rd justice if you haven't at least shed a tear :P
