For support, you should go to one of the support Discord channels listed in each release post. That also applies if you're having an issue that you think is MCCC specific. I don't look at any issues reported here. Very often, they come from something else. The support team will help analyze issues to determine if they are, in fact, MCCC and then they will help gather the information I need to debug and fix it.

hello, I have a problem, the interaction "try for a baby" doesn't work. It's visible, but after pressing it, the sims make random interactions. I checked all other mods, even removing everything except MCCC, and the option still doesn't work. The only way to have a child is have science baby. I've had this problem for a few days

You should go to one of the support Discord channels I mention in the release post and upload your mc_lastexception.html so the support team can analyze it. It could be a lot issue. It could be a core game bug. The support team can give some guidance there. We do no support here.

Hi, I've been getting an exception error due to bad or out of date mods. Ive removed all mods except for this one and I am still getting a latest exception error. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

No, that error means that you are getting a Last Exception from something else. Another mod/cc that is broken or a core game issue. It does not mean that MCCC is causing you issues. MCCC is just telling you that other errors are happening. If you need help diagnosing those errors, you should go to one of the support Discord channels listed in the release post.

I am experiencing an issue with your mod after the update. I get notification saying last exception caught by mccc and game is buggy. What do I need to do? Do I just wait for an update. I am new to mods 😬

Probably not. Not seeing any problems with MCCC (although every UI Mod will likely be broken since there were big UI changes today). I always wait for several hours to see if any issues come-up on Discord before I say for sure. If I find problems immediately when a patch happens, I post to let everyone know an update is coming. If I don't, I wait several hours and then give an all-clear on Discord and update all posts compatibility to include today's update patch info.

Broken zips tend to be a user-machine issue, not a MCCC-specific issue. If it was a MCCC issue, everyone that downloaded the files would be having this issue and you'd see many, many posts here about it. Since that's not the case, it's not an issue with the files here. Again, if you need personal support, you should go to one of the support channels mentioned in the release post as we don't do support here.

Hi The error is exactly what it says. You have a MC Dresser module installed that has an earlier version than the main MCCC. It can mean different things, like you left the zip file in your mod folder after installing rather than removing it, from an older MCCC, or you have multiple versions unzipped in your mod folder. Whatever the cause, it has the same result. The game is loading a different version of MC Dresser than the rest of the mod. For support, you should go to one of the support Discord channels listed in each release post. We don't do support here.

No update is needed. There are no known issues with the current version of the game and the current version of MCCC. If there was, I'd list it in known issues in the post. If you're getting errors, it's something in your installation/saved game, not something with MCCC so getting a new version won't fix anything. You have to fix the issue on your side for the error message to go away. There's a troubleshooting section on my website you read can read. Going through the steps in that, including the 50/50 of mods, finds most errors. However, if you're looking for someone to help, then like I said, you have to go to the support Discord server channels for help. We don't do any support here.

I don't think the game itself will support any higher than what it is. You know how there are little Sim pictures on the UI for each Sim in the household? I believe the maximum number that the UI will display is the current maximum we allow through settings. If you set it up higher than that, then I don't think the additional Sims will be visible and also may be deleted from your household when you zone/exit/reload the game, etc. Thanks!

The current version of MCCC is always the one pinned to the top of my posts. When I no longer have any posts for the MCCC Patreon version, like now, you should always upgrade to what is the most recent post. Public posts of the same version (2024.7) are always more recent than any Patreon version of the same number and will always be the one everyone should be using.

If you mean, "Is it possible to stop the game from making other Sims of a specific occult type, like Vampires or whatever?" then no. It's not something I do because it requires changing too many files in the game and can prevent specific game functionality from working as intended. I always try to take the lightest approach possible to prevent core game features from working right and stopping any type of Sims from being created (occult or anything else) isn't something I do. So far the number of requests for this functionality has been only one person, you. :) I've not heard such a request from anyone else. With that in mind, I've never even considered it so checking back is probably the least likely way it would ever get added. Asking was the way to go. That said, it depends on how body details are implemented. All of the body types I allow in Custom Definitions are set-up the same way by EA as Body Type enumerations. If the Body Skin Details are set-up the same way, it would be possible to add them to Custom Definitions. If they aren't, then they can't be. I've personally never played with any body skin details so don't know how it's configured or anything. I can write it down to look at, at some point, to see how they do that. Really about the only feedback I have on it right now.

Is there any chance that body skin detail support will be added to custom dresser definitions someday, please? Every few months I check back on mccc to see if it's supported, but it still only supports face skin details. No worries if not, I understand.

yes, i did get it to finally work after setting 'Allow Family' to enabled. I hadn't had that enabled before when it was working, and the sims weren't family - so I didn't even think to change that. Definitely odd that that's the thing that fixed it, but at least it's working now! Definitely less critical now, as I know how to get it back, but I do hope that in one of the future builds it doesn't hinge on 'Allow Family' anymore.

Actually, I just talked to support on Discord and they said they looked into this when you reported it there. They said that when they talked it over with you and did a LOT of testing on their part, they found that there was a work-around that you could set the "Allow Family" setting in MC Woohoo to enabled and it works as expected in their testing. So, as long as there is a work-around, it is much less of a critical issue, I would think. If you need Propose to work, set that setting to true, do your proposals, then set it back to false if you don't want to leave it enabled. They said they sent you a message on Discord with the same information. In my testing I did, that I talked about in the change log, I also had that setting enabled so that would explain why I wasn't able to reproduce it, myself. This is a perfect example of why it's so important for people to go to Discord. The save files and settings often make a huge difference in trying to reproduce issues to fix them. There can be many variables that come into play in problems that a small subset of people might be seeing that I can't get details of in a text message on Patreon, etc. I know you did go to Discord, but something fell through some cracks somewhere because I never saw a single message from you there. I saw a message from a player named Ken about Teens and YA not being able to propose, and I responded to him with my analysis when I was done. Anyone that comes to one of my channels, I always personally read, even if support answers something and I don't have to respond. One of those channels (for the public that are not supporters), is the mccc-support channel which, as I said before, you can only get into by going through support first. They need to analyze the issues reported to ensure it is actually a MCCC issue before it will be promoted to my channel for me to look at.

You don't have access to mccc-support until you're promoted by a support team member to that channel. If you tell me your Discord name, I can tell the support team I'm expecting you. Most likely, nobody deleted your save files. Most likely, the bot on the server just deleted them automatically as such files are only expected in certain channels and if you try to post them in other channels, the bots probably remove them.

For support, you should go to one of the support Discord server channels. If this is about the Teen/YA proposals, I actually specifically reference that in the change log for this message. I see all messages on the Discord channels for #mccc-support, as that is the channel any save files would be provided for my reference, and I've not seen any provided for this issue. As I say in the changelog, I tested this issue this release and found it to be working as expected. Nothing has changed in MC Woohoo around this. What has changed is some core EA code specifically around relationships, which I also talk about in the change log. Lovestruck specifically changed the way relationships work now. There are new things required, in some cases, for relationships to progress. I also say this in the change log: Glad to look more if someone wants to come to Discord with save files and settings, but the previous report on Discord, I can't reproduce in my game. Works as expected!

MC Woohoo is still not fixed. Please advise. I can provide saves to help. I've been waiting 2 months for this fix, and I'm sad that no one reached back out to me within those 2 months to request saves if they couldn't find the error. I can provide my saves to show. This worked in an older version of MCCC and does not anymore.
