Starting spells
🕑 Added 2023-06-02 18:16:20 +0000 UTCAs an actual starting character Emrys would get to choose his starting spells himself, but by the lore sorcerers don’t have much control over such things. I decided to take a middle path and roll for a handful of spells to select from. None of them are exactly bangers, but he‘ll get more later. He gets 2 to start with.

These are first level spells; he gets 4 casts per day at level one. Tomorrow I’ll put out a similar poll with a random selection of cantrips, which are at will but very weak. He gets 4 cantrips known to start

Keep Watch lets you go without sleep as long as you aren’t doing anything more physically or mentally strenuous than a casual stroll. Much harder to catch someone off guard when they are reading or sketching than when they are dead asleep.

Are these spells Cantrips? Can he cast them as often as he wants to or do they eat up some kind of Resource?

Mhh.. 'Keep Watch' is useful (especially with a Criminal Background). The Second Option is kinda a tie for me (again^^) between 'Itching Curse' and 'Songbird'
