July 2023 Update!!

- a bunch of gameclam 4-related goodies will be dropping towards the end of this month. there's a lot of behind the scenes, in-progress footage to share as this year's gameclam was the most intricate one so far. we also recorded a special podcast discussing this year's gameclam (over 2 hours!!) that will get a special video version on here. look forward 2 some clam content.
- not gonna lie i'm not a big social media person, i don't really like to 'post', so i've been thinking of different ways to deliver stuff to y'all. i thought about starting a channel17 mailing list, where i make an article for y'all weekly (?) featuring photography, art stuff and more. something a bit more substantial than posts you'd find on social media... but do ppl use email?? would it get put in the spam folder?? i could also just post it here. or maybe a website? i've been trying to decide which way would be easiest for y'all.
- although i was ~super organized~ and had finished the tier 3 memoryland cd-rom demo early, i ran into a bunch of copyright (!) issues and logistical issues. the copyright stuff was solved, all that is left is getting the art printed. will send a message to everyone eligible updating them when i receive all the CDs!
those are the big updates i had for yall! lemme know here if the 2nd item (newsletter) thing would be better to get via email vs on here!! thanck

mailing lists are very fun (and also you could different tiers maybe? like a full article or a lil' list update option) But I think we would all be smiling serenely at any delivery, so whatever works!

Patreon sends me notifications and emails with posts (which is how I saw this one) so just posting here seems fine ππ

I think email or patreon seem like the best options for where to post a weekly sendout ! Patreon posts could be better to avoid spamboxes or people missing emails in inbox clutter, but either sounds good to me. also yay for gameclam and memoryland :]
