The relentless battle between a catgirl and a maid about a certain animal café!
🕑 Added 2020-12-12 04:58:55 +0000 UTCKitty: "Tell me, Syr! Stop hiding things from me."
Syr: "I'm not hiding things from you, Kitty. I'm just asking you to respect my clients' privacy."
Kitty: "It's not private anymore since that Clara girl told me about it! If there is an animal café downtown, we must go… we must!"
Syr: "I'll make you a coffee here if you want, Erika can be your pet."
Kitty: "That's not the same at all! She is not a real animal, plus I can play with Erika all the time. Clara said they even had a raccoon over there. I love raccoons and cats and all. They are all fuzzy and soft. Come on! We need to go there! Tell me where it is!"
Mark: "Hey! What's going on here? What's all that racket about?"
Kitty: "Syr said we are going to an animal café this weekend. It's downtown. Her friends work there."
Syr: "I haven't said such a thing. And they are not my friends. They are my clients."
Mark: "What the hell is an animal café?"
Kitty: "What!? Mr. Japanese novel lover doesn't know what an animal café is?"
Mark: "I don't know everything. Is it like a maid café?"
Kitty: "Fool! It's way better! You go there to drink coffee and eat dessert, but cats and other animals surround you. You can pet them and cuddle with them while you eat. Clara said they have a bunny and a raccoon too! I have to pet the raccoon! I must!"
Mark: "Getting fur in my food doesn't sound too appealing. And who's Clara?"
Kitty: "Syr's friend!"
Syr: "No, she is my client. Master Mark, please, do not let Kitty go there. It would be a grave mistake."
Mark: "Petting a raccoon is a grave mistake? Why?"
Syr: "Because!"
Mark: "Because?"
Syr: "Yes."
Kitty: "See? She is hiding something!"
Syr: "Kitty! Cease this relentless behavior at once."
Kitty: "Meow! We are going there this weekend."
Mark: "Sorry, cathead. You promised you'd accompany Erika on her business trip. She was looking forward to spending time with you alone at the hotel this weekend. Remember?"
Kitty: "Darn! It's true. Can we go the weekend after, then?"
Syr: "Master Mark, it will be an equally bad idea to go the weekend after."
Mark: "Syr, since we will be alone this weekend, you better tell me the truth about this whole story. It's somewhat fishy."
Syr: "The place she mentioned does not exist."
Kitty: “Liiiiies! Liiies!”

In a lot of ways I see TS as Syr in this conversation (trying not to write a crossover) and Kitty as the universe (pushing inevitably towards a crossover). An immovable object and an unstoppable force, if you will.
I think Syr loses. Mark and Syr going first should work. really could see this conversation playing out.

That makes sense I didn’t even think of that. And knowing kitty it’s a pretty high likelihood that she would demand a new one. But also knowing how kitty seems to always get her way I think syr is going to lose this battle. But what do I know this all just speculation. Thank you for adding to it and thank you for the wonderful stories
Haha. I'd never write something THAT bad... at least, I hope I wouldn't.
Of course it is. This family is entertaining. :)
Kitty is a stubborn one. ;)

I want to see a cross over of them going to the cafe so badly. No matter how bad it turns out.
Hahahah! That was fun!

There is no winner of this discussion, it's just been postponed. Will Syr hold fast to her clients privacy? つづく
