Man, I know it almost destroyed Cara, but I’m SO glad you guys tackled this topic. I studied psychology in uni and am currently figuring out grad school, but because I’m a sucker for anything that appeals to my sense of justice, the more leftie-coded anti-psychiatry stuff (like Mad In America) has really been getting in my head. Even with the obvious silly, “my hallucinations are actually psychic powers” stuff aside, I end up going in circles about whether my career will end up harming people. Hearing all of you (especially Cara) so easily address the bullshit in this movie was both fun and reassuring, so I appreciate you all suffering through it on our behalf!
