For this month's script post, I wanted to show you guys the first lil tidbit of dorky sexiness we experienced between Norman and Cal π
It's funny, when I first proposed the idea to Daryl, he laughed and said it was funny and cute. I hadn't yet asked him how comfortable he was with drawing NSFW/mildly erotic scenes, so I was a bit nervous leading up to his reaction.
Don't get me wrong, we've had that conversation and he's totally onboard for NSFW stuff (he's actually exceptionally talented at it too), but I was shy towards asking because I didn't want to put him in an uncomfortable situation or make him feel like he had to do NSFW stuff for us to continue working together.
We both looked back over this scene and gushed about it together later on. I'm so proud for how it turned out.
It also really helped us set up some sexual tension for Chapter 4 π

I never even considered the body heat factor π I mean, Cal is from Hell. So maybe demon physiology is cold-blooded so they can withstand the heat of the underworld? So fascinating. I'm gunna have to build out some lore on this

That is in fact EXACTLY what this is. He's an incubus, Normy boy, were you not paying attention in Demonology 101? It feels like the more erotic part reads as Cal and Normanβs spooning rather than a tent pole. Because you can sense the warmth of Calβs considerable body heat - no blanket required when heβs that buff. And both those boysβ hard bodies pressed together. Good thing Norm is wearing a shirt with a demon literally breathing down his neck.
