I’m with Sean — if someone has vinyl or hardwood floors, it’s so freaking easy to mop 😂😂 carpets are one thing but it’s nuts to be that crazy unless the shoes are actually damaging the floor.

I'm with Sean on the shoes. I figure that the 1% of the time that we have guests in the house, is so minimal as to make little difference. They always offer, but I tell them they can choose whatever they'd like. I'm fully in the "shoes are part of the outfit" club (a la Carrie Bradshaw) and personally prefer to leave them on when I'm out somewhere.
