Don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to be a Tina and say she should have addressed the shooting at the parade. I am just genuinely confused why Americans are scared to go places from a shooting when it just seems like part of the culture there in the US. Thanks for responding 😊

Hi Michelle , TD here - The news hadn't broken yet about the parade when Taylor and Joey recorded this yesterday.

As a Canadian, it’s a little strange to hear Americans scared of gun violence from one lone shooting when that’s common place in the States. There were literally 20 people killed at a parade down there but Americans will talk about Mexico? Like genuinely what am I missing? I know many Canadians scared of travelling to the US and that seems more reasonable to me.

Machine Gun Kelly and Travis Kelce are both from Cleveland and have been friends for awhile. MGK headlined a music festival that Travis put on in KC last year also.

Good luck to Joey on his move! I hope he touches base with Taylor throughout his journey so we can live vicariously through his travels!
