Cocaine Shortage
Late last night a collaborative police effort accumulated into the seizure of 28 tons of cocaine. The cocaine was seized from multiple cargo containers stored around the outskirts of town. Dealing Cocaine
Even though there's been a bust and it's hard to come by, you can still find cocaine in a couple of regions, you must be prepared to pay top dollar though, or rather top Simoleon.
The Selvadoradian dealers from Basemental Gangs, the big shot drug dealers and the dealer in Selvadorada are all unaffected by the shortage. So, if you play this smart you can earn quite a bit this month.
Finding which regions still has cocaine available is a trickier endeavor, though.
Discussing the drug market with your dealer will not yield any useful information, so you are left to good old trial and error.
NPC Drug Propositions
Your Sims friends can now autonomously ask them if they want some drugs. Your Sim needs to have a friendship of at least 40% with the NPC's, and they must be NPC's. That is not active or selectable Sims from the same household as your Sim. They can not be family members either.
Clubbers
Clubbers will autonomously proposition their friends (that is your active Sim) to do MDMA if you are at a nightclub together.
You can reject or accept the proposition, rejecting it will not cause any actual consequences, but accepting it will make your Sim pop a pill.
Stoners
If your Sim is visiting a Stoner Sim they can ask your Sim if you want a bong hit.
Like with the clubber NPC's you can choose to accept or reject the proposition without any actual consequences if you reject, but if your Sim choose to accept they will proceed to take a hit from a bong.
Cooldown Period
After being propositioned for drug consumption by an NPC friend there will be a cooldown period before the next time this is allowed to happen. The cooldown will trigger whether or not your Sim accepts or rejects the proposition.
Eyedrop Animation
Finally the eyedrops have the animations that were supposed to go with them all along.

Venue List
To make sure this works you need to download the updated Basemental Drugs venue list provided in this post. I recommend installing this venue list in a separate folder directly in your Mods folder called: Basemental Venue List.
Choose one of these 2 installation methods. Not both.
Basemental Drugs Installer (WINDOWS ONLY)
- Delete all the old Basemental Drugs files from your Mods folder.*
- Download this Basemental Drugs.exe file.
- Run the Basemental Drugs.exe file.
- Choose which Optional Packages you want included.
- Delete your localthumbcache.package
* If you installed from the installer previously, you can delete the old files by launching the file called unins000.exe in your Basemental Drugs folder.
Basemental Drugs Zip (WINDOWS OR MAC)
- Delete all the old Basemental Drugs files from your Mods folder.
- Download the Basemental Drugs zip file.
- Unzip the Basemental Drugs zip file.
- Place the files in a folder titled Basemental Drugs in your Mods folder.
- Delete the Basemental Drugs zip file.
- Delete your localthumbcache.package

Gangs is still working fine, you can download it by scrolling down quite a bit on this page. It is however not necessary to have it installed if you want to play with the Drugs mod.
