Ketamine
To get a hold of Ketamine you can purchase it directly from your Sims NPC dealer, or you can get it from the Dark Web.
If your Sim is at level 7 or above in the Pill Dealing skill they can sell ziplock bags of Ketamine to customers for that same skill.
Snorting Ketamine
To snort ketamine off a table or a counter top, drag the lines of ketamine out of your Sims inventory and place them on whichever surface you’d like to snort it from. Click on the lines and select “Snort Ketamine”. Your Sim will proceed to walk over to the lines and snort them.
They can also snort them from sinks if, say they are at a nightclub and don't want to place the lines of ketamine out in the open. Make sure your Sim has lines of ketamine in their inventory, click on any in game sink and select “Snort Ketamine”. Your Sim will walk over to the Sink and snort the lines from there.
Effects
Ketamine is a dissociative drug with psychedelic qualities, and the effects will increase with the quality of product as well as the amount consumed.
The on-set is rapid and the effects relatively short lived. The main effects will put your Sim in a tripping mood, but there are a bunch of random additional buffs and debuffs that vary from the dose and quality. Ranging from light euphoria to being balls deep in a trippy K-Hole.
Sharing Ketamine
To share Ketamine, drag and drop lines of ketamine from your Sims inventory to any surface, click on the lines of ketamine and select “Share With…” select a Sim (from the dropdown list) that your Sim is friendly with (you need a significant friendship level for the option to show up), that is in close proximity to the lines of ketamine.
The Sim you selected will proceed to walk over to the lines and snort them.
Side Effects
Sims who keeps on snorting a lot of ketamine over a prolonged period of time will eventually get an “Addicted to Ketamine” buff. This buff lasts for 5 days and is refreshed every time your Sim does more ketamine. If your Sim is not under the influence while the buff is active, they might get some negative debuffs until they snort more ketamine.
Other
There is also a whole lot of other functionality that the new drug ties into, most of which is most likely stuff you already know exists in game, but if you are unfamiliar with it, refer to the change log above.
Adding a new drug with the complexity the mod is at is truly a time consuming endeavor, but hopefully I have remembered to add compatibility with the new drug into all the areas of the mod where drugs needs compatibility.

Venue List
To make sure this works you need to download the updated Basemental Drugs venue list provided in this post. I recommend installing this venue list in a separate folder directly in your Mods folder called: Basemental Venue List. I also recommend updating it whenever there is a new mod version out as I constantly add in new custom venue compatibility from other mod authors.
Choose one of these 2 installation methods. Not both.
Basemental Drugs Installer (WINDOWS ONLY)
- Delete all the old Basemental Drugs files from your Mods folder.*
- Download this Basemental Drugs.exe file.
- Run the Basemental Drugs.exe file.
- Choose which Optional Packages you want included.
- Delete your localthumbcache.package
* If you installed from the installer previously, you can delete the old files by launching the file called unins000.exe in your Basemental Drugs folder.
Basemental Drugs Zip (WINDOWS OR MAC)
- Delete all the old Basemental Drugs files from your Mods folder.
- Download the Basemental Drugs zip file.
- Unzip the Basemental Drugs zip file.
- Place the files in a folder titled Basemental Drugs in your Mods folder.
- Delete the Basemental Drugs zip file.
- Delete your localthumbcache.package

Hiya, noticed a problem with the keg. They can do keg stands but pouring cups has issues, they don't drink after pouring, they just put the cup down. I tried getting them to drink after they put it down but they do nothing.
