If you were one of the (un)lucky few that downloaded the version posted earlier today, I Hope the "hacked" toilets, showers and bathtubs prank put a smile on your face. In case you are still wondering what was causing it, that was indeed an April Fools prank. I thought the "Slooflirpa" (spell it backwards) and the whole 0401 icon was a dead giveaway, but seems like quite a few of you were fooled this year as well.
If you still don't know how to fix it, just remove the package file from your Mods folder called "Cowboy Compatibility.package" - And while we are on the subject of cowboy mods, since I've gotten quite a few questions regarding what a cowboy mod is. It was just a throwback to a joke from last 1st of April where I turned all the toilets into cacti and blamed it on "some cowboy mod perhaps".
Anyways. I have just updated the Patreon (and Public) versions of the mod with files that don't contain the "Cowboy Compatibility.package", but you don't really have to re-download this, just delete the package from your Mods folder and everything will be back to normal. Oh.. btw, the rest of the changelog stuff were not pranks however, so enjoy those changes and tweaks.
I am getting closer to the finish-line on the more extensive feature I've been working on these last few weeks, but in the meantime, here's a Basemental Drugs update which squashes some crucial bugs.
Changing World
- Changed prices on a regional basis
- New MDMA batches on the streets

- Readjusted dust accumulation to account for latest patch changes

- Fixed a crucial bug related to ADHD
- Added compatibility for "cowboy mods"
Bust The Dust Kit
As you might be aware. Maxis corrected their dust accumulation rate in the last patch. Their new normal is approximately what I set my "slow" setting to. So, now I have accounted for that and readjusted the normal setting to their normal, and made my "slow" and "slowest" settings to even slower than what it used to be.
Other
There was a glitch happening with ADHD that could potentially make other active Sims in the proximity of a Sim with ADHD cancel their tasks. This should now be a thing of the past.
Venue List
To make sure this works you need to download the updated Basemental Drugs venue list provided in this post. If you have Basemental Gangs installed, please delete that venue list and install this one instead, I recommend installing this venue list in a separate folder directly in your Mods folder called: Basemental Venue List
The reason I don't recommend you having it in your Gangs folder is that I will keep the venue list separated from the Gangs mod from now on, as it doesn't make sense uploading a whole new version of Gangs just due to some minor changes to that Venue List.
If you already have this Venue List installed from the previous venue list update you don't need to update it.
Choose one of these 2 installation methods. Not both.
Basemental Drugs Installer (WINDOWS ONLY)
- Delete all the old Basemental Drugs files from your Mods folder.*
- Download this Basemental Drugs.exe file.
- Run the Basemental Drugs.exe file.
- Choose which Optional Packages you want included.
- Delete your localthumbcache.package
* If you installed from the installer previously, you can delete the old files by launching the file called unins000.exe in your Basemental Drugs folder.
Basemental Drugs Zip (WINDOWS OR MAC)
- Delete all the old Basemental Drugs files from your Mods folder.
- Download the Basemental Drugs zip file.
- Unzip the Basemental Drugs zip file.
- Place the files in a folder titled Basemental Drugs in your Mods folder.
- Delete the Basemental Drugs zip file.
- Delete your localthumbcache.package

I am aware, it's because Batuu is disabled as a destination world with the pack in. Even though the exclamation point is there all the other vacation worlds works just fine. If you are uncertain what the Trippy Batuu package does it is all in the readme file in the Optional Packages folder

Hey, the optional package "Trippy Batuu" causes an exclamation point warning sign to appear on my vacation world. When I hover over the exclamation point sign it says the world is unusable bc no rental lots are available. The sign is only there when that specific mod is in my mods folder and the sign disappears when I remove the mod. I'm fine to play without it for now, but just thought I'd let you know so you can investigate.

Head over to the support channel on the Discord server for support on your issue. Itβs not possible that happens if the cowboy package is truly deleted, we can surely help you out on the Discord server to make sure you delete it properly though
I've deleted the cowboy package but I'm still getting the same 00401 message and my sims still can't use the toilet. What am I missing?

Yeh I had uninstalled eco hacks the other day as exception errors kept coming up for it.....all good now cheers

You should not be using eco hacks if you are using the Patreon version of Drugs as it's already baked into Drugs. The exe file, as it doesn't contain a code signature certificate, as independently released exe files that aren't made from larger corps seldom do, Windows will treat it as a suspicious file. What you can do is either to install it anyways as it is safe, or use the zip file and install it manually.

Hilarious! I At first I just noticed my sims on community lots walking around looking really dirty. Didn't think much of it. Then on a lot I sent a sim to go to the toilet. What I can't understand is when the sim wet himself and the purple message sent me to the shower and then to the bath. I actually did what the message told me. I mean duh!!! Then I suddenly realised. So funny, thanks for that!!!

I actually opened the package file and read what they did, and I *still* fell for it. I mean, once. When my pregnant sim couldn't use any toilet/was about to pee herself, I quickly exited & deleted the package, realizing it was an April fools prank (tbf it was barely past midnight for me, it didn't register that it was for April fools day at first.)
