Tobacco
The very talented and lovely Ravasheen provided me with a new 3D model for a vending machine that will replace the Tobacco dispensers. I have been working on the textures with 4 various swatches so it can fit in wherever you want to place it in terms of color scheme of your venue.
The functionality is the same as the old dispensers, in that you can collect Simoleons from them if they are on a lot that you own and smokers have autonomously bought cigarettes from the machine(s).
The added functionality is the whole thing of the items might getting stuck and you need to shake them loose, which is similar to the other vending machines in game.
Due to having these for Tobacco I decided to remove the added "Purchase Tobacco" option to that one vending machine in Mt. Komorebi.
Cancer Diagnosis
There was a critical bug in the last version that prevented Sims to get properly diagnosed by Doctors if they had undiagnosed cancer, so Chemotherapy never showed up as an option on the Doctors Appointment picker.
This has now been fixed, and I also added some better visibility for Chemotherapy in that same picker.
Previously the Chemotherapy option would only appear when it was time to go to chemo, whereas now it will show up whenever your Sim is diagnosed but will be greyed out until it's time to go to chemo.
Venue List
To make sure this works you need to download the updated Basemental Drugs venue list provided in this post. If you have Basemental Gangs installed, please delete that venue list and install this one instead, I recommend installing this venue list in a separate folder directly in your Mods folder called: Basemental Venue List
The reason I don't recommend you having it in your Gangs folder is that I will keep the venue list separated from the Gangs mod from now on, as it doesn't make sense uploading a whole new version of Gangs just due to some minor changes to that Venue List.
If you already have this Venue List installed from the previous venue list update you don't need to update it.
Choose one of these 2 installation methods. Not both.
Basemental Drugs Installer (WINDOWS ONLY)
- Delete all the old Basemental Drugs files from your Mods folder.
- Download this Basemental Drugs.exe file.
- Run the Basemental Drugs.exe file.
- Choose which Optional Packages you want included.
- Delete your localthumbcache.package
Basemental Drugs Zip (WINDOWS OR MAC)
- Delete all the old Basemental Drugs files from your Mods folder.
- Download the Basemental Drugs zip file.
- Unzip the Basemental Drugs zip file.
- Place the files in a folder titled Basemental Drugs in your Mods folder.
- Delete the Basemental Drugs zip file.
- Delete your localthumbcache.package

Like Joe Oliver said. You’d need customers first and foremost. If you have customers and still find it glitching out I’d advice you to head over to the Discord server for further real time support. The links in the bottom of the post ✌️

Hey, I have a question about the mod itself. I may just be stupid BUT with weed dealing or any kind of dealing when i try to sell on the phone options my sim goes through the phone animation but then nothing ever happens past that. Am I doing something wrong?

It is not conflicting with any of those mods. If you head over to the support channel on the Discord server (links in the bottom of the post) I am sure we can straighten out whatever problem you are having, though
