Hi. I'm new here. I had the old basemental drugs installed and it made me lose my doors. I deleted and it and reinstalled, but i keep seeing the message script failed?

You'll have to remove it until they update the mod, unfortunately. I had to do this some weeks ago. I really hope there's an update soon! I miss playing with this mod!!!!

Assuming you have 10 various items of hard drugs in your Sims inventory, click on counters, couches, beds etc and click "Stash Drugs". Your Sim will run over there and stash a random hard drug from their inventory.

does anyone know how to complete the goal stash 10 hard drugs during the swat raid?

Either you have an outdated version of the mod or an outdated/cracked version of the game. Make sure you have the most recent (legal) version of the game bought through Origin and the version of the mod found in the post you are commenting on.

Hi Liz. The next release is in the finishing testing stages right now, it's taken longer than usual, but only because it is a big one with a bunch of new features. I just tested the papers, works fine here. Mind heading over to the support channel on Discord for further support on this? Would be good to get to the bottom of it with you and figure out why it is not working on your end.

When will there be an update? Rolling a joint doesn't lessen the amount of rolling papers right now, it still says there are 5 rolling papers. Blunts are fine.

The reason why it doesn't make sense saying how much time exactly gets added is simply that it depends on your style of playing. That is, if you travel off lot with other family members or play with rotational households the time is essentially frozen when you are not on your incarcerated Sims home lot. That being said, if you stay on the lot the entire time it is not as much as several days, more like half a day extra.

Question.. with time added to the sentence much tie is added a day or two, my sim was given a short sentence but got time added it did not say how much?

You can go to jail by doing drugs in public as well, although in the latter scenario the severity of the penalty depends on how much drugs your Sim is carrying on them when getting busted.

If you installed it correctly it means you are on a pirated version of the game, or at least not uptodate version of the game. Buy the game from Origin and make sure you are on the most current version of the game and mod

Hi thank you for your wonderful mods! For some reason i keep getting a script call failed message when trying to place objects and once I removed this mod the error stopped happening. Do you know if this mod conflicts with any other mods? Or is this outdated? Thank you

So I’m having a problem where this specific mod for some reason will remove all planted and harvestable plants, not trees, but plants on my existing games when loading into a lot for play. Also if I try to use a premade lot or room with plants from the gallery they also become removed upon placement. I did lots of test and its definitely Basmental Drugs. I’m at a loss.

It is updated to the latest TS4 game patch is what it means. Doubt updating it now will break the game for you in any significant way however. Anyways, the only thing I can recommend you is update the game and make sure your mods are up to date and compatible with the latest game patch

hey for some reason the option to sell cocaine isnt there anymore. Once i click on "drugs" the "cocaine" tab is completely gone and only shows settings & the other drugs I sell. Any tips?

This might be a stupid question lol but I haven’t updated to the newest patch because I am waiting for some mods to be updated but every time I go in game it says that this mod is updated so can I update it now or should I wait till I update my game to the newest patch . I would hate to update it and its not compatible with out my game being updated and I break my game since I just got it to start working again lol

Yup. But as long as they aren’t carrying huge amounts of hard drugs on them when they are busted they shouldn’t be charged for more than a misdemeanor

Hi. I sent a private message earlier asking for help on something as well, but maybe this will be better. I am having problems with the mod. Does not matter whether I've downloaded the mod directly from Wicked Whims or here on your page, but for some reason my sims do not get the option to smoke cannabis, I've grown it, but it won't go into the cure jar which my sims bought from the headshop. They have blunts and papers aswell as bongs, and I managed to find pre-curing cannabis jars in build it mode, but even when that was cured my sims still not get any options to smoke with the jar's in their inventory. Is there a mod I am supposed to download or what could the problem be?

It is normal for any exe file downloaded from an independent author without a code signature license. When running the exe file Your PC will also tell you that Microsoft Defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting, this is also normal - Just click “More info” and “Run anyway”. If you are still using 3rd party antivirus software, for whatever reason, it might throw a fit over the file over the same reasons specified above, pause the antivirus software prior to installing. If you for some reason don't feel comfortable doing it that way, install it manually through the zip file instead. The end result is the same, but the exe file will do all the legwork for you.

Not sure if anyone else has noticed/reported this or not, but when I went to buy cocaine from Roy D after getting out of prison, I wasn't actually charged for it. At first I thought it was just cancelling out the action before I could get it, then I looked at my inventory and had 5 high grade bricks but no money change. Could just be a glitch on my end, but thought I'd let you know.

Not currently possible to prevent or cheat it, no. It’s basically the same as when a sim dies, technically speaking, but instead of turning into ghosts and have the grim reaper show up etc they get sent straight out of your game

It would be as good as impossible to implement it that way as the adventure moments is designed to last throughout the incarceration time. 5 days might not seem like a whole lot, but in terms of regular game play it is. Also when you add in the point of family members travelling off lot and the extended time that causes

Hey Basemental, Is it possible to get different flavours of jail time length? I know that would be extra work, but I've altered my lifespan in game to be more realistic, so a long jail sentence is literally just three quarters of a week for my sims. Just a suggestion I thought be neat.

Sims also have a chance of getting busted by using illegal drugs in public spaces. If they are just carrying it in their inventory they should be safe, though

nice, an idea please have the police work with the police in the game, i have a sim thats a cop and his brother is a drug dealer, club owner, gangster. i was hoping i can use more cop interaction to arrest ppl anytime and help my drug dealer brother our from getting busted.

I am sure you'll be good as long as your Sim doesn't carry a boatload of hard drugs in their inventory when getting busted. It's easy enough to avoid the max penalty.
