🕑 Added 2021-05-28 00:03:53 +0000 UTCGame patch 1.75.125 released earlier today, and I've spent the last few hours going through everything to see if anything broke. I found two crucial bugs but both of which turned out to be Maxis' bugs, and nothing to do with either Drugs or Gangs, so all in all these are still safe to use and got out of the patching unharmed.
I did however decide to upload a new version of the mod with some improvements for you guys, I was planning on releasing this along with a larger implementation I am working on, but since I also had planned on repairing my mod tonight and release something I can might as well release this.
Changing World
- Changed prices on a regional basis
- New MDMA batches on the streets
Money Laundering
- Overhauled and improved money laundering system
Fixes
- Fixed eternally stuck items in vending machines
- Pink Rolex pills now sellable from beginning of MDMA dealing
Other
- MDMA bottles now stackable
- Improved the log system even more
- Improved strings for cannabis legalization
Money Laundering
Money laundering should be much less of a hassle with this upgrade.
You do what you used to do, click on a computer > Money Laundering > Launder money.
Only this time around you decide the actual amount you want to launder (not less than 10 000 Simoleons, though)
Once the "Recently Laundered" buff runs out you are free to withdraw the cash from the same computer, and again you select the amount you want to withdraw.
Easy peasy.
Venue List
To make sure this works you need to download the updated Basemental Drugs venue list provided in this post. If you have Basemental Gangs installed, please delete that venue list and install this one instead, I recommend installing this venue list in a separate folder directly in your Mods folder called: Basemental Venue List
The reason I don't recommend you having it in your Gangs folder is that I will keep the venue list separated from the Gangs mod from now on, as it doesn't make sense uploading a whole new version of Gangs just due to some minor changes to that Venue List.
Choose one of these 2 installation methods. Not both.
Basemental Drugs Installer (WINDOWS ONLY)
- Delete all the old Basemental Drugs files from your Mods folder.*
- Download this Basemental Drugs.exe file.
- Run the Basemental Drugs.exe file.
- Choose which Optional Packages you want included.
- Delete your localthumbcache.package
* If you installed from the installer previously, you can delete the old files by launching the file called unins000.exe in your Basemental Drugs folder.
Basemental Drugs Zip (WINDOWS OR MAC)
- Delete all the old Basemental Drugs files from your Mods folder.
- Download the Basemental Drugs zip file.
- Unzip the Basemental Drugs zip file.
- Place the files in a folder titled Basemental Drugs in your Mods folder.
- Delete the Basemental Drugs zip file.
- Delete your localthumbcache.package

The windows installer is just an installer that unpacks everything for you directly into your Mods folder, regardless of where you run it from.

There's no right click or numbers input related to Eco settings for Basemental Drugs. You simply click any Sim > Settings > Eco Footprint and adjust the settings from there. You sure that isn't some other mod you are confusing with this one?

Hi I just wanted to let you know the "eco" part of is not working. I right click, put in -500 to make the neighborhood green, and nothing happens. Just wanted to make you aware. Thank you

Thank you for this, Basemental. However, now instead of getting the error, my game simply goes back to the neighborhood selection screen after a few seconds of loading. Any ideas?

This mod needs to be updated because it's causing an error called122:ae1a18cc:61edd973 whenever you try enter build mode from Manage Worlds. I removed every single mod one by one and this is the one that causes it

I keep trying to host a rave, and the character does something on his phone and then...nothing. I've repeated this like a dozen times. And yes, I did all the prerequisite party planning things for the option to show up.

No, It is from the Trippy Batuu optional package, it is removing Batuu as a rental world when it's installed and rather utilize it as a place to visit if your Sim is tripping on Ayahuasca. Remove the package if you rather want to do that, it is completely optional

Hi I have error with my destination worlds which says I have no available rentals left. If I remove the basemental mod it disappears. I have updated all the major mod including yours for the latest patch. Could It be another mod interfering with yours?
