New Purchase Pickers
Whenever you head to the Convenience Store or Headshop through the Travel option on your phone you will now get these new fancy schmancy looking purchase pickers. For those who hang around on my Discord server, I even threw in a little Easter Egg in there.
Vending Machine Swatch
Someone asked me kindly to add a new swatch to the multitude of Tobacco Vending Machine color options, as this one should go nicely with all color combinations. Hope you like it!
Sim Info Log
This change is worth mentioning, even though for the most part you shouldn't have the need to use this, unless you are talking to the Support team on my Discord server and they specifically tell you to.
The way it works is that you can shift+click on any Sim in game, go to the Basemental Drugs menu and generate a Sim Info log to the folder your Basemental Drugs mod is installed. The log file will list all the Sims traits, buffs, stats, skills, inventory items and relationships.
The reason I've added this is to make figuring out Support issues easier for us.
But, yeah.. in short, most of the time you won't need to use this at all, but if the time comes that you need support, this will most likely be a huge time saver for all parties involved.
Venue List
To make sure this works you need to download the updated Basemental Drugs venue list provided in this post. If you have Basemental Gangs installed, please delete that venue list and install this one instead, I recommend installing this venue list in a separate folder directly in your Mods folder called: Basemental Venue List
The reason I don't recommend you having it in your Gangs folder is that I will keep the venue list separated from the Gangs mod from now on, as it doesn't make sense uploading a whole new version of Gangs just due to some minor changes to that Venue List.
It is important that you update this Venue List this time around as it has undergone some changes.
Choose one of these 2 installation methods. Not both.
Basemental Drugs Installer (WINDOWS ONLY)
- Delete all the old Basemental Drugs files from your Mods folder.*
- Download this Basemental Drugs.exe file.
- Run the Basemental Drugs.exe file.
- Choose which Optional Packages you want included.
- Delete your localthumbcache.package
* If you installed from the installer previously, you can delete the old files by launching the file called unins000.exe in your Basemental Drugs folder.
Basemental Drugs Zip (WINDOWS OR MAC)
- Delete all the old Basemental Drugs files from your Mods folder.
- Download the Basemental Drugs zip file.
- Unzip the Basemental Drugs zip file.
- Place the files in a folder titled Basemental Drugs in your Mods folder.
- Delete the Basemental Drugs zip file.
- Delete your localthumbcache.package

The unarchiver is an unzipper for Mac. The exe file is an optional installer for Windows computers. You should not download that at all on your mac.

Cannabis... Can we get more strains? Sativa in particular, but I would take whatever because I love the mod. I guess what I'm saying is could we have more "hidden" strains that you don't tell us about? If not just more strains period. Maybe Bruce Banner, Mendo Breath, Acapulco Gold, or maybe even Green Crack (named by Snoop Dogg). Either way I love it but it would be cool to find a mystery strain and to be the only dealer with it (not on dark web either). Thanks and keep up the great work!

Box of Newports and bongs arenβt as easy as adding swatches unfortunately as they use custom animation resources in their functionalities, they require a lot more. Different swatches for the decorative ashtrays however shouldnβt be any problem to add. Other than that, thanks for your nice comment. Put a smile on my face on a rough morning π

Thank you for everything and adding more color swatches to the tobacco vending machine. Id love more color especially a pink color swatch to the ashtrays, bongs, Newport box and other objects which I'm trying to do myself but I'm still learning how to use sims4studio. I F'ing love your mod it was the first I ever downloaded and it opened my world to mods and CC just when I was about to give up on this game now I'm addicted pun intended lol. Thank you again!

One thing I was wondering: It used to be that MDMA pill bottles were stackable and could be placed on shelves, but the current ones don't. I was wondering if maybe you could consider bringing this feature back?
