Please read the changelogs, and remember to update both Drugs and Gangs (if you are using Gangs, as both needs to be updated to be fully compatible with one another.)
HOTFIX Note:
If you downloaded 5.11.138, and receive an error log, it is because the mod searches for a resource from a pack you don't own. Update to 5.11.139 and you should be all good!
Changing World
- New fluctuated prices from NPC dealers in all regions

Police Bribes Overhaul
- Police can now be bribed every three days
- Bribing does not decrease risk of Swat raids, only police busts
- Bribing increase your relationship with corrupt cops
- Relationship with corrupt cops decay over time

- Corrupt cops can inform you about incoming raids
- If this happens, it will trigger a "stash the drugs mini game" before a raid

Changing World
There are new batches of pills out on the streets, and new buying prices for each region.
Bribes and Money Laundering
Previously when you bribed the police, you would drastically reduce the potential risk of getting busted by the cops or raided by a Swat Team .
From now on however, whenever you bribe the cops you still drastically reduce the potential risk of getting busted by the cops, it will however not reduce your risk of getting raided by Swat. What it will do however, is build your relationship with corrupt cops able to give you information about incoming raids.
How do I decrease risk of raids then you might ask? Launder money. And keep laundering your dirty money regularly to make sure the risk stays as low as possible.
Corrupt Cops
If you keep up with bribing the police (you are able to do this every three days, either from a maxed out cocaine dealing skill or by talking to your Right Hand Man with Basemental Gangs), you make sure your relationship with the corrupt cops stay as high as possible.
This will greatly increase the chance of them giving you a call directly before you get raided, which will trigger a mini-game of "Stash the Drugs".
When stashing the drugs you need to look for suitable places around your owned lot to stash your hard drugs (this does not apply for weed or prescription medicine). Each container you can find around your lot that can hold drugs can contain up to 5 items, and the item picked from your inventory when stashing is a random hard drug item.
The mini game is short, and your Sim will run around in a state of panic while stashing the drugs, but at least those items will not be confiscated from your Sims inventory, or confiscated from the actual lot by members of the Swat Team.
Cigarette/Cigar Multitasking
I feel it's worth to mention that this was apparently broken in the last couple of releases, it has been fixed now however, so your Sims can watch TV while having a cigarette, yet again.
Police Confiscation
I also feel the need to mention this, as I am sure this is a welcoming change to quite a few of you. Those bastard cops that used to confiscate all your belongings, including a photograph of your dead grandmother and your high school diploma have been reprimanded by their commanding officer.
Police will from this version out only confiscate illegal items from your Sims inventory, if you are in a legalized region, they will not confiscate your cannabis or cannabis paraphernalia, and they will never confiscate your prescription drugs.

- Delete all the old Basemental Drugs files from your Mods folder.
- Download this Basemental Drugs zip file.
- Unzip this Basemental Drugs zip file.
- Place the files in a folder titled Basemental Drugs in your Mods folder.
- Delete the Basemental Drugs zip file.
- Delete your localthumbcache.package
Basemental Gangs
- Requires: The Sims 4, Get to Work and Basemental Drugs
- Delete all the old Basemental Gangs files from your Mods folder.
- Download this Basemental Gangs zip file.
- Unzip this Basemental Gangs zip file.
- Place the files in a folder titled Basemental Gangs in your Mods folder.
- Delete the Basemental Gangs zip file.
- Delete your localthumbcache.package
Basemental Gangs conflicts with other mods installed that adds custom venues to your game, if you have zerbus Get To School/College mod, LittleMsSams more buyable venues, or other mods that include custom venues delete their Venue Lists.package. (The Venue List.package in this mod includes their venues as well, meaning their mods will still work with only this package installed).
Basemental Gangs does NOT replace Basemental Drugs, but is an addon to Basemental Drugs. Do not delete Basemental Drugs prior to installing Basemental Gangs.

I've got to say, I never thought I would enjoy gardening in any way in this game. It took this mod and my Vamp becoming a small-time pot farmer on the side to get me to enjoy that aspect of the game. When I built a greenhouse on his property it was mainly to farm the various ingredients that make the Vamp lifestyle a bit easier, Wolfsbane, PlasmFruit, Garlic, etc. But, as his powers grew and he lost the need for such things, slowly his greenhouse garden changed as well. Now fully 2/3rds of the greenhouse is devoted to the growth and curing of that profitable sticky icky. The funny thing is, he doesn't even sell it. Just the growth and curing processes, once I figured them out, were fun all by themselves. Up until today I only ever had the public version, so selling it was never really the point. He mainly stockpiles baggies in a gun safe (another minor mod by a different author) and smokes a little every now and again. Strangely, that's enough for me - and I'm the farthest from a nature nut as you can probably get. So, thank you for the experience. I actually enjoy tending the garden and waiting to see how the next yield will be. I have no idea what the Patreon version will have changed as I only joined today. But, I am looking forward to seeing what has been improved, though I might wait until the post-update version comes out to test it. I would love to, eventually, be able to deal my own in-game product eventually as well. I hope that aspect eventually becomes a reality, if it hasn't already. Would be fun to own a headshop! Just having drugs around or being a dealer who isn't actively selling (I hope you don't mean an NPC dealer as that is obviously not meant to be a played Sim) won't trigger any busts. One of my playable households has a bunch of drugs stored in their inventory, one is even a drug dealer but he never got caught. I want the police to come. Help me out please!

Hey everyone! I'm having a slight issue with police drug busts. I've never gotten one in my game! lol. I've tried changing the likelihood more easier by toggling with the difficulty but police still never show up. Do they just burst into my home or does it happen on a community lot? I really wanna experience it, I've had BD installed for too long and never had this feature happen.
