Patch Day 12.11.19

As you all most likely know, patches tend to break game changing mods, and especially patches pre-expansion packs, so my uneducated guess is that this one is going to break a bunch of stuff. Rest assured that when the patch breaks the mod(s) I will make sure to fix things as quick as humanly possible.
Please do not ask for ETA's on when it will be fixed, rather know that it will be fixed ASAP.
Now! What should you do to ensure the patching goes smooth and you don't get unexpected issues with your game afterwards?
Move all your mods and CC out of your Mods folder into a temporary folder prior to updating the game. Then, go for one of these two options:
- If you are planning to play the game vanilla (without mods) after the patch: Start up a new save. If you don't, all your mod data will be missing and if you overwrite that save without your mods all your mod progress will be lost.
- If you can't/won't/shan't play the game without your favourite mods, go to Origin, turn off Automatic Game Updates, Participate in Origin Client Betas and put Origin in Offline Mode. Wait until you get a confirmation from the mod authors of the mods you use to confirm that they are updated. Go online, update the Sims and update your mods.

Hey Basemental! I know last patch you updated Dont Wash Dishes Angry Poop and some of Britt Pinkie Mods. Are you going to do it for us again this patch? I'm sorry to bother you with it but it seems like the original people who were updating them have just DISAPPEARED! Let me know if you have time to do so and where to download them. If not, that's okay thanks for all you do already anyways! :)

Doubt it. The update post EP will be more focused around utilizing stuff from the EP and not fixing things

Definitely starting a new game and playing vanilla for awhile. This is a HUGE update with tons of bug fixes.
