I have a similar situation. Essentially, two roomates. One that is very clean cut/never has done drugs, then a more drug comfortable npc roomie. Clean cut is trying to autonomously snort coke, like? lol

I I love the addition of tobacco to the mod. I have but one issue with it and it is the same I have with all drugs of this mod. I can't safely use the autonomy option for sims I play. Reason being s/he uses drugs at every possibility s/he has. And since the drug action is a small one and can be added into multitasking by the game that means a lot. Sims I don't play can have their autonomy, but mine? Better not or s/he'll smoke all of the merchandise before having a chance of selling. Sadly I can't set the frequency of the use. Only yes or no.

Love these ideas Sakura and I am also loving the update :) I would also like to see an option to offer another sim a Cigar or cigarette. At some point, I want to make a cigar bar.

Basemental! Okay I love this mod update! Like literally the best. But I do have some future add-on suggestions. Hear me out: 1) Empty and used Ashtrays for decoration purposes 2) With the assign smoker option it would be nice to separate it. So like assign smoker (cigarettes), assign smokers (cigars), assign smokers (weed). Cause not everyone smokes everything right? People have preferences. 3) Lot traits? No smoking 🚭, smoking allowed 🚬, smokers ONLY (something along those lines) OR how Turbodriver has in build/buy those posters that allow or disallow WW activities on certain lots. Hopefully this makes sense. 4) Nicotine patches for sims that want to quit but just can’t do it alone cold turkey 5) Miscarriage possibilities with pregnant sims 6) Lung diseases or something similar ie smoking too much after a while could kill your sims 7) PIPES!

I have been over the whole heroin thing quite a few times. I am not going to implement that as I find it uninteresting, both in terms of my enjoyment of modding it and the actual gameplay value. There are a bunch of other things I would see implemented before that.

Hi Shiori. Thanks for the support. All of the stuff is really in the changelog, this is very much still in development, so I'll take most of your questions as suggestions. 1. Yes 2. No, I have however taken over the mod from Necrodog, but that part is not in there, the animations are way better, though. 3. No. I am planning to add Alcoholics Anonymous, though, at some point. But Smokers Anonymous feels weird. 4. I have removed the ashtrays that came with Necro's mod, as I felt they didn't serve a purpose, but adding in some decor like that is a good idea. 5. No. The tobacco part is an addition to a really extensive mod already, if my main focus was on this I probably would've gone that route. I am sure you can find some external CC for this, though. 6. Yes, the exact same ones as were in Necro's mod, but you can also purchase packs from vendor stalls (read the patch notes) 7. That is a great idea, thanks

Yeah, they do smoke autonomously. Seems there might be an issue with assigning smokers, though. I have gotten a few reports on it, where they don't get the required cigarette pack added to their inventory. Will take a look at it and sort it out ASAP

I set a lot of smokers around the world and in my household and the auto drug use set enable to all the sims but i never seen a sim smoking !! They dont smoke automatic ?!?

Thanks for the suggestions. I have thought about increasing the jail sentence time really, but say you play a single Sim household that would suck immensely to watch a week go by in a rabbithole. The time limit right now is what I feel is a balance of it being a hassle and not destroying gameplay for people

Love the cigars! It goes so well with my mafia gang members. I wish there was a way we can choose how long our sims stay in jail. My life span settings is long so a week in jail would be perfect! Also, swat team raided my house and arrested my sims I wish my sims family members would have gotten a sad moodlet.

You can start a dispensary, that is not what Mortiferus asked, really. As long as you own Get to Work you can start selling paraphernalia and weed like you would any other item in any retail store

I just had another idea, sorry! If we could have no smoking signs and sims will tell you off if you smoke in that room/building/area? Just so excited! EDIT: I keep getting random negative and positive buffs in response to her quitting smoking... even when she's smoked a minute before or is currently smoking

If they aren't at war they won't really do anything to one another. I do find it weird that your Sim doesn't get tipsy after having a drink, though. I mean, it might happen, but there's a really low percentage chance of it not happening. Makes me wonder if you have installed something wrong, or if you have some old BMD files in your Mods folder.

Welcome back! Will there be more liquor buffs in the future? My sims never get drunk or tipsy after having a drink. Only lean and other drugs work. Also the gang side, will guns, knives and fights be added in the future? My sim saw a rival gang member at the club and didn't do anything. They started talking normal.

Not right now, but I reckon I will utilize the female smoking animations for joints a bit down the road, as the joint smoking animations looks a bit too masculine the way they are right now
