To ensure it goes smooth and you don't get unexpected issues with your game it is recommended to move all your Mods and CC out of your Mods folder and in to a temporary folder prior to updating the game.
As Mentioned, mods might break with the game-patch. So, it is also recommended that you wait for mod creators to either come out with a corresponding hotfix or a confirmation that their mod works with the patch before using it.
If you just can't play vanilla for a couple of days without your favourite mods you can also run Origin in offline mode and play the game offline and postpone the update until you get the aforementioned confirmation from mod creators that their mod is hotfixed or that it works.
