Sorry for the long wait for this one. July has been hectic on all ends, and as I have mentioned before, what started off as a nifty little idea turned into a lot of work (as it usually does). All in all this turned into a really cool feature I think, and I hope it will add some extra fun to you Cocaine Dealers.
How it works
Smuggling
First things first, this requires the Jungle Adventures Expansion Pack.
To start it off, you need to take your Cocaine Dealing Sim on a vacation to Selvadorada. He or she needs at least a Cocaine Dealing skill of level 5.
Once you get to Selvadorada, hit up the local bar and start chatting up the local bartender. Once your friendship level is high enough, you can ask the bartender about getting the number to a Cocaine Hookup.
Now you get 12 hours to call the number the bartender gave you. (Note that you need to be in Selvadorada to call the number). Click on your Sim, the Cocaine Dealer sub category under Basemental Drugs pie menu, and call the Selvadorada Hookup.
What will happen next depends on a few factors;
1. If your Dealing Skill level is between 5-8 there is an offchance of the cops showing up instead of the actual dealer. The cops will beat your Sim up, haul their ass to jail and confiscate their inventory. There is also a chance of the dealer actually showing up, of course.
2. If your Dealing Skill level is 9-10 the cops won't show up at all, you are guaranteed the dealer showing up. Also, if you turn off Police Arrests in settings, the cops won't show up.
If and/or when the dealer shows up, you need to talk to him a bit before buying. Just get acquainted and so on. Then you click on the dealer, choose Cocaine under the Basemental Drugs pie menu, and select "Buy Cocaine". Here you will have the option to buy high or low quality cocaine bricks in bulk. The higher your Dealing Skill level, the cheaper prices you will get.
Once you reach level 10 you won't find better prices anywhere.
Fixes
Most of the fixes are self explanatory, so I'll rather touch in briefly on which of them is not.
Previously you had to be addicted to buy drugs from your playable dealers. Say you created a Sim and got him the amphetamine dealing trait and started selling amphetamine. You could play as the next door neighbour who had an amphetamine addiction and buy amphetamine straight from said Sim with the amphetamine dealing trait... Now your next door neighbour doesn't have to be addicted at all to buy amphetamine off of him.
The fixing of the animations in sharing joints and blunts is a temporary fix, as I want new animations for sharing that seems more real, but this is just a change into the new animations from last time that mike24 made.
Installation Instructions
- Delete all the old Basemental Drugs files from your Mods folder.
- Download Basemental Drugs v1.3.8.53
- Unzip Basemental Drugs v1.3.8.53
- Place the unzipped files in your Mods folder.
- Remember to delete your localthumbcache.package
- If you experience issues with Buying or Selling - place both of the files directly in your Mods folder.
- Any other issues, get in touch at my Discord Server
- Enjoy the drugs

It was removed previously. People complained. (Which really goes to show that you can't please everyone). That is why I added it back in, but only the bricks, which incidentally is way more expensive if you buy them from build mode. You can however choose not to buy them from build mode. Problem solved, no? :)
Hey, what about removing cocaine, speed and MDMA from build mode? It's to easy to buy it that way imo.

Bartenders? Or Bouncers? Try (when you are on the lot) to go into Build Mode, remove the Bouncer Lot Trait, and re-Add it, then go back to Live Mode and see if they appear

Family members are disallowed from a lot of selling interactions. Guardians might be disallowed from sharing. I think this has more to do with their relationship level, though?

Hey! Thanks so much for this. Thought I'd put in a suggestion since I know you love them :^) I feel like this has been said before - or maybe is a thing but I haven't noticed. Have you ever considered putting in physical effects of drugs, or being addicted to drugs?

You could always go to my Discord Server and send me the LE. But, if you are uncertain that it is this mod or not, I'd advice you to try out the same thing on a new save with only BMD in your Mods folder. If it still throws an LE, you'd know for sure. Either way, HMU on Discord so I can take a look at the LE (the link to the Discord Server is at the top of this page)
Hey mate, I've just done as thorough of a mod check as I can and I believe that this update gives me a last exception error when entering the bar at Selvadorada. I'm not entirely sure as I have a lot of other game changing mods but I only encountered any issue as soon as I tried ordering a drink at the bar. Thought I'd let you know.

No, and that should not happen (obviously). Have you deleted your localthumbcache.package and cleared your other caches, as you should whenever you do changes to your Mods folder.

This is awesome, thank you! I love how this mod makes my game more "real" so to speak. Questions, have you thought about adding Weed smuggling to this new Smuggling function? And have you ever thought about a Dispensary for weed where your sim can just walk in and buy flower, pre-rolls and edibles and you could have weed dealers work there as playable characters like in a profession track like a scientist , or a detective? Just curious if that could ever be a possibility? Thanks again!

Can't wait to play this update good job on all your work man this is by far my favorite and best mod I've downloaded everything works great... But as I said before it's be dope if you could throw in some downers ik it'd be alot of work but that would perfect this mod.. and ik that I read on a forum somewhere that you never planned to add heroin and what not because you didn't want to glorify the use of drugs but honestly if you do add it you could make it like a 70% chance of your sim overdosing the first time he tries it or like 50% chance of the heroin (or other drug) being laced which also in turn kill your sim.. so in a way you could almost show people what will happen if they use those kinds of drugs.. and maybe you can even make it so your family will kick you out or leave ik that'd be real hard but just throwing it out there.. other than that perfect nod man keep it up!

I ain't gon lie, when my sim starts smokin a blunt, I be wantin to hit it. She never asks... or passes...tho. One day, maybe? (lol, jk, I'm straight on that) But look, lemme ask, how much harder would it be to have both masculine and femme poses? Cuz my chicks forget to be lady-like when the smoke is in the air...my dudes be stuntin, tho. (good job on the update to that, btw).
