This update is all about fixing the newest implementation to suit your needs. Seeing that so many of you had vastly different experiences of how often you wanted your Sims to be busted I thought it would be best to let you choose for yourselves through the settings.
Oh, and I almost forgot. Turbodriver released a new version of WickedWhims a couple of days ago. In this version the "exchange sex for drugs" interaction for amphetamine dealers is on autoaccept. So, go get that if you haven't already!
How it works
Settings
Make sure your Dealer Sim is active. Click on him/her, go to the Basemental Drugs Piemenu, choose Settings, Police Arrests. Here you can find all the settings. If you tune the difficulty to hard, Police will show up more frequently when you are dealing. If you set it too easy, they will show up less frequently. Normal will be exactly the way it was in the last version.
Dealing Skills
Cocaine and amphetamine dealing skills will now take longer to level up. These were previously tuned way too easy to reach level 5. Now they are on par with the difficulty of the MDMA dealing skill.
Police Busts
There was a problem with the cops confiscating the inventory items from family members of the busted dealer if said family member was the active Sim. This is now sorted out so only the dealer will get his/her stuff confiscated.
Installation Instructions
- Delete all the old Basemental Drugs files from your Mods folder.
- Download Basemental Drugs v1.1.3
- Unzip Basemental Drugs v1.1.3
- Place the unzipped files in your Mods folder.
- If you experience issues with Buying or Selling -
place basementaldrugs.ts4script directly in your Mods folder. - Enjoy the drugs

Correct - Version 1.09 has a chinese translation at least, but there are no translations for the Patreon versions - Reason being that new versions are uploaded much more frequently to patreon than the public versions, and new functionalities are added on more or less a weekly basis, if I were to wait for people to translate every new version before releasing them here you would have to wait ages for every new release
I'm sorry, now that I understand how this new functionality is, just a doubt, there is no translation of the mod into other languages โโother than English and Chinese?

I'm new to the modding community, where can I find Necro's smoking mod?

The cops that shoots their guns and that is not something I have implemented. This is from Sacrificial's mod. The cops from my mod will only show up one at a time and arrest your Sim (if you don't toggle that option off in your settings that is).
Hey Base, Love the cops but is there anyway to keep them from showing up at every venue scaring the shit out of everybody by shooting off their guns every few minutes. They walk around with gun in hands and then they'll pop off shots and other Sims starts running in a panic. I even saw a cop acting as a vendor in Brindleton Bay and he would be shooting and trying to sell fish at the same time.

I have doublechecked the String Tables and they are definitely copied to all languages. The only reason this could be occuring then is because you have not deleted the old Basemental Drugs files before installing the new version.
I'm not sure if it's supposed to be like this but the police settings only show Icons and no words, so just to make sure I've set it right, am I right to assume that Red-High White-Medium Blue- Low and the Handcuffs with the cancel sign cuts off arrests? I set my game to red hoping it'd make the setting high, but I still haven't gotten caught by police yet.

Hi Larissa, this should really not occur as I have intended to not have any autonomy for the third consecutive dose of any of the drugs. What drug is she overdosing on? And yes, you can turn off autonomous drug use by clicking on the Sim while she is active, go to Basemental Drugs > Settings > Autonomous Drug Use > Disable Autonomous Drug Use for this Sim

I can take a look at it when I get home, but I am quite sure that the String Tables is copied to all languages. Are you playing on a different language than English? And; have you deleted the old mod before you downloaded this one? :)
