Sometime you need to check if the xyz are allocated well. For that you need to click on position data button to open the pointfileIN parameters. You can find the button in the emitter panel. Same operation for the color, you need the rgb chanel. You can check by clicking on the color data button to open the parameters fir the color channels.

Attraktors designer use for reading point cloud the pointfileiN TOP. Usually I use ..ply file format but it can read other file type like .pts or .xyz. You can read here all format supported https://derivative.ca/UserGuide/Point_File_In_TOP.
