When I need to get my creativity flowing (or sometimes just for my own amusement) I’ll write one-offs or side-stories with no real plan in mind. Some of these get swept under the rug as they’re little more than writing exercises, but sometimes they’re good enough to share! I hope you enjoy this little story - I have no plans on continuing it, but inspiration comes in strange waves, so let me know if you like it and you may see more in the future.

PART 1
"Nnhh..."
Daniel huffed softly as he shot his meager load directly into the tissue he had cupped over the tip of his cock. High-pitched moans still played over his headphones for a few seconds before he paused the video he was watching, slumping back in his office chair and tossing the crumpled, soiled tissue into the wastebasket next to his desk. It was a typical Saturday night for the bored, lonely loser; he had spent all day in his dorm room, only venturing out into the shared kitchenette to fetch snacks - while doing his best to dodge other students, of course - to fuel the day of gaming and lazy masturbating he had enjoyed.
The brief high of his climax faded into mild ennui as his small cock began to wilt. He heard the creak of the floorboards out in the hallway outside of his room, the sign that someone might be walking up to his door. Daniel’s heart skipped a beat when he realized that he had forgotten to lock the door, a rookie mistake due to this being the first time he had lived in a shared space. At home he knew his family wouldn’t just barge in without at least knocking, but he had already been embarrassed by a discourteous dormmate once. Their rooms were private but they all connected to a shared kitchen/living area, and Daniel was having to adjust to the new experience. He quickly pulled his shorts back up around his waist and did his best to tame his unkempt brown hair before going to exit the page on his browser, lest he get caught and humiliated.
To his horror, clicking the 'X' in the corner of the window didn't close it, instead opening another pop-up window. The footsteps were getting closer, and this pop-up didn't have an 'X', sending Daniel into a brief panic.
"Nononono..." He didn't bother reading the text - something about a promotional run of something called the 'Personal Adjustment Device' - and just clicked 'YES' to get rid of the damn thing before he got caught. To his relief that seemed to solve his problem, and the window disappeared just in time.
The door swung open right as Daniel spun his chair around and standing in the doorway was the tall, broad frame of his next-door-neighbor Clark. The larger boy’s t-shirt was stretched across his muscled torso, countless hours in the gym and on the football field helping to mold his powerful body. Prominent pecs, bulging traps, and biceps and triceps that looked like they could crush Daniel’s head like a can, not to mention his tree-trunk legs with built quads and a tight, muscular butt that Dan had overheard more than a few coeds talking about. Short blonde hair, chiseled features, piercing blue eyes; where Daniel was meek and reserved, Clark was brash and outgoing. He wasn't an asshole or anything, but sometimes Daniel felt like the other boy liked to push his boundaries in a misguided attempt to break him out of his shell. It didn’t help that the football player made Daniel feel… funny. He hadn’t really put much thought into his sexuality during high school - his friends were all straight and whenever they had ‘boy talk’ it was usually juvenile banter about which hot chicks they wished they could fuck. But Daniel was adult enough - and horny enough - to recognize that cis women were far from the only thing that got his tiny dick hard.
“ ‘Sup dude?” Clark said as he casually strolled into Daniel’s room, holding an envelope in one hand. “Did you know you had this taped to your door?”
“What? No…” Daniel looked confused as Clark walked up to hand him the piece of mail. “Why didn’t this end up at the mail center?”
“I dunno dude,” Clark replied with a disinterested shrug. “I don’t work there. Maybe they missed it? It got sent to the wrong person or something?” Clark’s nose crinkled like he had just smelled something bad. “Were you just jerking off in here, little man?”
Daniel was in the middle of tearing the envelope open and nearly dropped it at the accusation. It was his fault for having his wastebasket right there in the open with a jizz-soaked tissue resting atop the pile of garbage inside, but the embarrassment caused his face to heat up, as did the disparaging nickname. He crossed his arms defensively across his bony chest with the contents of the envelope clutched in his palm - probably a worthless credit card offer judging by the size of the metallic rectangle.
“Look Clark, I-” Daniel’s attempt at asserting himself was cut short by a loud buzzing, the card in his hand vibrating intensely and making him jump in his seat.
It was probably for the best - he didn’t have much else planned in his head besides ‘stand up for yourself’ and further embarrassing himself in front of the guy he might have had a thing for wouldn’t have done well for his already dubious self-esteem. Before he didn’t have much of a chance to react before the card began to shout at such a deafening volume that Daniel needed to hold it out at arm’s-length to escape from the harsh noise.
“CONGRATULATIONS! YOU HAVE BEEN SELECTED TO TEST AN EXCITING NEW PROTOTYPE FROM BUILD-A-PARTNER INCORPORATED!” The recorded voice sounded like it was piping through the school’s PA system, but only Daniel was wincing at the unpleasant volume and whining tone. Clark just looked at the smaller boy, puzzled. “OUR PORTABLE ADJUSTMENT DEVICE, OR P.A.D., IS THE CUTTING EDGE IN REALITY PERMUTATION EXPLORATION! THE INTERFACE IS SIMPLE - HOLD THE DEVICE IN YOUR HAND AND LET YOUR THOUGHTS SHAPE REALITY!”
“Dan, dude, are you okay?” Clark asked after a moment. “You’re acting like that credit card is radioactive or something, man.”
Daniel was still reeling from the incident but at least his ears weren’t ringing with the startlingly loud voice anymore. He looked up at Clark, unsure as to how the football player could have remained so composed during the auditory assault. Was this some kind of weird prank? A hazing ritual to spring on easily scared freshmen to remind them of their place in the social pecking order? If so, it was a strange way to do it; the thin metallic rectangle had been spouting some nonsense but maybe it was supposed to be intentionally confusing, sort of like those gag greeting cards that played an annoying jingle on an endless loop until you tore the battery out.
Either way, Daniel was annoyed.
He was about to ask Clark to leave his dorm when the card flickered with an unexpected green light, projecting a perfect hologram depiction of the larger boy in all of his muscular, six-foot-two-inch glory.
“What the- Is this your way of rubbing it in?” Daniel scoffed, still assuming that Clark had something to do with the strange device.
Who else could it have been? It even displayed the other boy’s full name - ‘CLARK TURNER’ - which was all the evidence Daniel needed to place the blame squarely on the jock’s broad shoulders.
“Dude, I have no idea what you’re talking about…” Clark tried to reassure him, noticing how upset the smaller boy was getting. “It’s just a card. I don’t-”
The card, unbeknownst to both of them, was reading Daniel’s surface thoughts as they bickered. It could sense the resentment and jealousy brewing in his mind, as well as the attraction and arousal that he had been keeping bottled up for most of his life. With Clark as the target, the P.A.D. began to cycle through options without any more prompting. It didn’t matter if Daniel didn’t know how the device worked, it could tell what he wanted.
Even if he wasn’t ready to admit it.

I wrote the intro but decided to run with the story that had a hetero pairing for mass appeal. Most of my interests fall squarely into queer spaces! I figured some of my readers would be into it.
