Bridge Chapter 25 ( Heist time!)

I had to constantly buy and sell goods for the Rebellion. So that meant I started making a name for myself there. Food was purchased in large bulk orders but I did not need to sell that as the Rebellion was funneling currency to me.
Buying all those weapons and medicines did draw some attention but I was okay with that. Some people tried to increase the price when they knew that I was buying so much but that was easy to deal with.
Find out what their main income from selling came from, purchase resources at market value for bulk orders. Then undercut the fuck that thought he was hot shit. Usually, that would lead him to try a price war which I would always win as I purchased his cheaper goods and sold them for cheaper.
Once I did that a couple of times most people knew not to fuck with me. If they wanted to deal with me honestly that was fine but trying to fuck me over never went well.
Since I was trading so often I was able to upgrade my Tier-Status to World 1. Meaning I now had access to the Murim worlds. Nothing that grand in the multiverse but they did have some cool things.
Purchasing the various swordsmanship martial arts was on the top of my to do list. Ringo was great but the longer she used those god awful blades the more I questioned her actual experience.
I did not try to buy anything just yet as I was rather busy with other things but it was nice having the option.
Trading took a large chunk of my time but that was fine as I had all the time in the world.

Maxing that particular skill had me spamming it over and over again for days. If people could pay attention to me they would be questioning if my flickering state was another bloodline technique.
Honestly, my skill glasses and the near unlimited Mana the Kaleidoscope could provide made leveling skills like this really easy.
At Max level, I had a list of dungeons that looked never ending but the buffs now applied to all of them. The biggest gain of course was that the time dilation was pushed to five times. An honestly broken abilities. One that would see me reaching adult hood at a much more accelerated pace.
More often than not I was pushing my base stats in the basic dungeon but I did reek havick over the lower level dungeons. I needed to grind out my spells and skills as well.
I did not upgrade my sweatband so leveling my stats was more diccult but that was fine I still managed to push my physical stats to a nice level.
Which meant more perks for me.

Others could claim that they could handle dozens of men with no problem but you on the other hand know for a fact that you could arm wrestle a hundred at the same time.
People have been called demi-gods for lesser feats but don’t let this new found strength get to your head. You are still a small fish in a big ass pond.
Once per day you may double your STR stat for five minutes.

It was a good boost and it did not even come with the stat drain that the LUK stat came with. I could understand why as strength was something easy to measure and deal with by luck was something far more abstract.
A strong man may be able to punch a meteor but a lucky one would have his opponent’s heart stop.

You are one of those speedy individuals who cause too much damage no matter where you go. You run at blinding speeds and you look like you are teleporting to the unrefined eye. That unrefined included yours until now.
It would be kind of pointless if you ran at the speed of light only to run head first into a wall.
No matter how fast you are going you will always be able to have a sense of your surroundings and are able to react to stimuli at values your speed travels at.

This skill on the other hand seemed lesser in comparison to the other two but that was a stupid out look. My DEX stat did make sure I could react to the speeds my DEX was capable of pushing me but I was capable of going faster than that.
My Reinforcement did increase my reflexes as well so that was not in question but I had other buffs that could increase my speed. I had not been using them as I could not react but now I could.
I could also start making a pair of boots that increased my speed like the original Dauntless. I would do that when I had pushed my Skill Glasses much further….Okay, those glasses are too important to put anything on the back burner.

Some punk has pushed you to the brink and you got nothing left in the tank? No, problem those worries are for lessers and that is not something you are any longer.
Once per week you can recover all Health/Mana/Stamina to your peak.
Any negative status effects are also removed.

Again this was something I really appreciated. Sure the cool-down was longer but that was okay for its effect. A second wind that would push me out of the red was amazing. Sure I could do something similar with my vampire title but it was never a bad thing to have options.
Plus this thing cleared status effects.
My WIS stat has been increasing but it’s been slower as making wise choices as you do a push up is hard. INT was finally increasing as I did mental math while I worked out but it was a slow gain. Only another ten points in WIS and thirty points in INT.
Finally, my CHA stat did increase from making deals and convincing people of my words but it was a slow process. Most of my deals worked off of the fear my reputation brought after all. But some of that was from genuine conversation.
Since I was grinding in the low level dungeons I managed to push my level to 20 which gave me a boat load of points to spend. The urge to dump them into LUK again was great but I gritted my teeth and held off.
The call of better Gacha drops will not sway me. I’ll figure out a way to grind my LUK and I will not waste more points! No, matter what shiny loot I could get…
I was currently sparing with Ringo. She was kicking my ass but at least I was getting some sword mastery levels.
A bolt of lightning rained down on me and I felt my muscles spasm from the force but I gritted my teeth and glared at Ringo who was grinning at me.
I traced a blade and shot the thing at her like Emiya. The blade soared through the air but Ringo crushed it with a swipe of her own blade.
I would have been happy with the blade doing damage but its main purpose was to stop the shocks. I could not pull off the unlimited blade world that Emiya could as he had his reality marble but I was able to shoot some swords.
If I could pull off Unlimited Blade Works I was pretty sure I could handle Ringo no problem. A world in which Infinite Blades get thrown at you is difficult to beat even from someone like her.
I was going to send another barrage of blades at her while I laid traps but she waved me off.
“Cool it brat. As fun as shocking you has been now's a good time for a brake.” Ringo shot out as she gestured for me to rest. Her sadistic smirk was still on her face but there was a hint of concern in her eyes.
I wanted to protest and push myself further but the memory of lightning coursing through me gave me pause. I gritted my teeth and sat down to rest.
Ringo was the only one that really pushed me in spars but god she made mistakes a painful experience. I could pull through from my regeneration but it was a close call sometimes.
“You are making progress brat, a couple more weeks of this and I can finally make a real man out of you.” Ringo shot out as she approached me and sat by my side.
I rolled my eyes at yet another innuendo but made no comment.
There was a silence in the air as we just appreciated each other’s company. Then Ringo asked something.
“Do you think they already gave Raiga my blades?” She asked absentmindedly as she held onto the traced blade in her hands. She had a pair of Kiba blades but she could not show them off in the training yard.
I looked over at her and could see she was actually troubled by this. I was not sure why but this was bugging her.
“Probably not Yagura is not exactly a good decision-maker. He is probably holding off on giving Raiga the blades.” I explained my position.
The Kiba blades while dumb looking made a fantastic asset. So I had no doubt Yagura did not even think about giving them to someone. Not that Yagura could think about anything himself.
Ringo let out a light hum at my words before looking off into space.
“Would it be fine if I took them before anyone else can?” Ringo asked while not looking at me. I raised an eyebrow as that was not something I expected.
She seemed like she really wanted to go get them now but she was only holding off because of my opinion.
It would bring trouble to her and likely lead to the Mist hunting speificaly for her and she did not even need it as she had a copy of those blades. So I was tempted to talk her out of this but her position was odd.
The way she was acting was far more vulnerable than I expected from the usually brash and sadistic girl. So I decided to see what’s up.
“Ringo, you don’t have to worry about anything. If you want to take the things then take them. The only reason I would be against this would be because it would draw some attention to you but if you really want it go for it. If we have to spend some time grinding in dungeons until you can protect your babies I am more than fine with that.” I explained my piece and the silence fell in front of us again.
Our absence might throw the Rebellion in a bad situation but I cared more about her safety in comparison to the plans I had for this world. I could always leave this place whenever I wanted.
My promise to Mika might bind me here but I could still be attempting to revive her family members while off of this world. I did not have to be here.
The only reason I stuck around was because I had a foot hold here and I did not feel safe jumping into the Blind Eternities. But that might change as my skill level in the kaleidoscope was rising.
Ringo turned towards me with a small smile on her face and some relief in her expression. Again seeing this softness about her was a rather unique sight that had my heart pumping a bit.
“Great my babies belong to me and I won’t let anyone else have them.” She shot out with a grin as she stood up and started to go out of the room likely to go pick up the blades.
“Wait! Take me with you!” I shouted out as Ringo was leaving she looked back at me with a quizzical look but I was already approaching her.
I was not going to leave her to face this by herself.
Stealing stuff is easy with my coat and I can push it further instead of powering my glasses.
The main reason I was going was if she died I could not revive her without her body and I was not going to lose her.

The week is coming to an end soon so will shift back to writing Chat but this is now on schedule so an alternative posting between the two might happen.
Not sure but I’ll work something out.
