Bridge Chapter 17 ( Size ain't everything)

The Coat had not reached a level where people would ignore me when I actively harmed them or their companions in front of them. That was a level beyond what I currently had.
The thing is Zombie’s barely had any level of sentience. They were only running off of pure instinct and their sense of surroundings was already poor. So my Coat made them ignore me even when I quite literally ran them through with my sword.
They were only coming into our path because Ringo was here.
“You were right these things make great punching bags but they are shit enemies. I think I could have taken care of them when I was a fucking toddler.” Ringo spoke out with a pitying look on her face.
She had been giving me tips on how to handle a blade but then those tips started to fade as her interest faded. There were only so many times she could tell me basic forms after all. It was not like the Zombies could push me to respond in a different manner.
Even her urge to attack the Zombies was being suppressed. She was the type of girl to appreciate a worthy foe instead of the fodder in front of her. What was the point of kicking a toddler when you could clash with a god?
“I would say they are helping me figure out vital points on the human body but they don’t really operate on that either.” I let out calmly.
Honestly, I was rather bored of this as well. I should have figured that the Zombie Dungeon was not really worth the effort. A least I was getting a steady stream of money.
I may not have a massive amount of LUK but what I have has increased my loot a little bit. I needed to think of a way to grind out LUK as well as I could not spend points on it all the time.
“So why even choose these chumps? If you can bring me to this place you can bring us to a better place right?” Ringo asked with some boredom on her face.
I raised an eyebrow at her. I did not expect that she would catch on to that. I guess she was really aiming for the he can do anything range. I mean she was not really wrong in that case.
“I could but I wanted to get a feel for my current strength without charging head first into something….I also gain some pretty good benefits for killing these things.” I explained after a moment of hesitation.
I did not want to hide stuff from Ringo. She had sworn herself into my service and she was pretty blatant about her loyalty….Honestly, I just wanted to trust someone as keeping everything to myself was suffocating.
I looked at the surrounding area and let out a sigh. There was not really a point in practicing my skills on these mobs. It was better to summon the Zombie Boss.
I started to etch some runes into the ground now that I had a clear area. Once I finished I looked for an appropriate high ground to complete the second step of my plan.
“The cash that is dropping out these things? I mean it’s okay but I make more off of a single mission brat. If you really want some Ryu Onee-chan has you covered.” Ringo spoke out as she looked at my current searching.
There we go a nice three-story building. Tall but not tall enough to make this an issue. I started to walk to the place while answering Ringo.
“It’s not just the Cash. I can get a sort of energy from killing these things and I can use that energy to upgrade parts of myself from my strength to even something like how pretty I look.” I explained to the best of my abilities. I was pretty certain she would not have a concept of role-playing games so I figured this was good enough.
I opened up the door to the building with a simple spell while locking it behind us and reinforcing it with magic. I idly swung my sword at the Zombie that started walking towards us as soon as we entered.
“Damn brat you really don’t do small shit. Make sure to increase your dick size Onee-chan wants something nice to play with later.” Ringo let out a short whistle from what I was telling her.
I let out a sigh and gave her a flat stare as we broke into the stairs. We could not take an elevator in its current state. Ringo only gave me a cocky grin in return.
There was really no helping this girl.
“Right, I’m going to waste my precious energy on something like my dick when I could instead make myself so fast no one could see me coming.” I let out tiredly as we walked up the stairs.
“Hey don’t knock it just because your balls have not dropped. Plenty of men would give up their right arm to make their dick bigger. Hell, if you make it big enough you can use it to club people.” Ringo let out seriously like she was revealing a grand secret.
“How fucking big do you want me to make it?” I let out numbly as I stared at her like she had a problem. She just gave me a teeth-filled smile.
“I was just showing you dick size can be used as a weapon as well. Plus you don’t want to be too fast brat, you would disappoint Onee-chan if you rushed to the finish line all the time.” Ringo let out with a teasing smile on her face.
Again I let out a sigh. I was both too young and too old to deal with this shit.
We finally managed to get to the roof. There was a Zombie that was up here but I pushed it off the roof as I found it a little funny.
I looked over at the spot where I set up my trap to ensure it would do what I wanted.
“I’m not the only one that gains this energy. Since you accepted my party invite you to gain energy when killing these things.” I let out with a small smile on my face.
Ringo froze for a moment before looking at me. She then let out a sigh as if realizing something.
“Of course, you did. You do realize that if the Clans even hear half of the shit you can do you will have people begging for your dick. Fuck, I think they already want your cum in their daughters and they only know about the resurrection shit.” Ringo spoke out glossing over what I just told her.
I just told her that she could upgrade herself here and instead of asking questions or looking to kill the Zombies herself she gave me a warning. Ringo really was a good choice for me.
“Not going to ask me how to use that energy to increase your tit size?” I asked with a mocking smile on my face. Ringo rolled her eyes and let out a huff.
“Onee-chan is perfect as she is. Not, everyone needs massive melons like Miss Hot Air.” Ringo spoke out with a small frown on her face.
I let out a laugh and looked back at my trap as it activated. The runes started making loud noises attracting all the Zombies in the area. They also let out a signature that should get them to approach faster.
“Hypothetically if Onee-chan wanted to do so how would she go about doing that?” Ringo asked after a moment of silence from her.
I paused and looked over at her with mirth leaking from my eyes. She avoided eye contact for a moment.
“Really? Cause it sounds like this was not a hypothetical question.” I let out with a teasing smile on my face. Ringo just let out another huff.
“Onee-chan is doing this for you. Clearly you have a fascination with huge knockers. Onee-chan already has a nice ass so she is just completing the package for you.” Ringo explained as if her words were the final truth.
I let out another laugh.
“Alright if that is what you think. Sorry, but changes like that don’t really happen. You can only invest the energy into a couple of fields. Strength, Speed, Constitution, Intelligence, Wisdom, Charisma, and Luck. So you can’t increase things like tit size or dick size. Sorry to disappoint the size queen in the making.” I explained the system as the crowd of zombies almost reached a good size.
Ringo let out a groan and shook her hands at the sky as if asking why God was punishing her. Again I let out a laugh at her antics.
“So how can Onee-chan invest her energy?” Ringo finally asked the proper question.
“You can’t at the moment. Your vessel needs to be filled with energy and since you are so much stronger than me it is a whole lot harder to fill that vessel. When you do get enough energy you can open up the Status menu by saying that word.” I explained in terms she could understand again.
She let out another groan but seemed to accept what I was saying.
Finally, the crowd was the right size for my plan. I activated the final runic chain and the crowd of Zombies went up in flames as a massive explosion came from their position.
The building shook from the force of the explosion but I was too busy looking at the experiencing points coming in. That and the loot being channeled into my inventory.
I managed to get to level fucking seven from that little trick. Just another one hundred and seventy three and I’ll reach Ringo’s level.
God, I had a long way to go.
A loud roar came from the ground as a lumbering zombie dragged itself out of the scorched ground. I did expect the Legion Zombie to spawn after what I did.
This thing was a whole lot bigger than I expected. We were on the roof but it could almost reach us from its position.
“Well, he is a big boy. He any good or is he just another fucking chump.” She asked as she looked at the Legion Zombie stomp around its location confused about the lack of enemies.
“Sadly he is just another punching bag. He is strong no doubt about that. He could probably pick up a boulder the size of a bear but he is slow as shit. He is also dumb as a brick.” I explained as I started to mutter out more spells.
“You not going to go fight him? He seems pretty weak but he should be a better target in comparison to the trash.” Ringo asked as she looked over at the thing sitting on the ground in depression.
“No, we need to get better enemies so I figured I would finish him off and go to a different dungeon,” I explained as I finished up with my preparations.
The clouds above us started to crackle as lighting started to flash and swirl in them. I could not quite pull off a Kirin but I could manage to drag down a strike of lighting on the poor Zombie.
The dumb thing looked up at the loud noise coming from the sky and I think he finally managed to spot Ringo but it was too late. A bolt of lightning slammed down on his frame disintegrating him instantly.
Undead are weak to Holy, Light, and thunder. The poor thing did not stand a chance.
At least I got another level and a good chunk of money. I even managed to get a potion and that skill book. Luck for the win!
…..Okay, I’ll upgrade LUK until it reaches 50 then I will start saving points. Just one more level and we will get there.
