I've been wanting to show this since we launched the game. No, it's not true ... I've been wanting to tell you about it since I designed it like that!
But chapter one was not the place to include it, with all the introduction to the world of LC, its characters and its stats mechanics. So this had to wait to show up.
What am I talking about, you say? I'm talking about the 'Meanwhile', a new game mechanic that you will see in the C2. "Meanwhile"'s will allow you to play another character during a scene, and what you do in it will affect Alice's story. You can for a moment become little voyeurs, see things that Alice can't see and know things that she'll not know, and thus have a certain power in her environment. It will also help you get to know the rest of the characters a little more and create very arousal moments. Or even being able to have scenes with characters that make you horny but you don't want them to be with your Alice.
In C2 the 'Meanwhile' will star... Sophie! But in other chapters it will be the turn of Darren, Lei, Tom, etc... To warn you of this momentary change, the icon that you have in the image of this post will appear with the character's chibi (Sophie's has me in love).
For these scenes I was thinking of writing it in 3rd person instead of 1st like when you play with Alice. I thought it would help not to confuse you, not to lose the immersive experience of "being" Alice and at the same time it would increase the feeling of being small windows through which to "spy" on the other characters.
What do you think? Do you like that idea or would you prefer to keep the 1st person? And does this new mechanic seem cool to you?
I know that until you play it and see how it goes in game, everything you say is hypothesis, but I would love to know your opinion. ❤
