In the spirit of one thing after another…
🕑 Added 2024-06-10 01:39:58 +0000 UTCI need to take some time away.
Last night a family meeting was called, and we were told that my dad has cancer. Albeit it was caught early, but this is really my final straw.
It’s as if I’m on a lifeboat that is being home with my family, and now there’s a leak in my boat… it’s just one more thing on my stress list.
I can’t even bring myself to film even though I did all that work to get my new mic. I’ll be taking the month off, you can find me on IG and TikTok cuz I’m sure I’ll still be active to an extent, I just can’t handle filming.
I’m still working hard on my own mental health, but this new thing is really testing me, and i feel like I’m losing. I really want to drink. I realllllly do, but I won’t.
I’m really sorry for being so excited and making a schedule, only to be torn down by my own mind and not be able to follow it, and then external events taking their toll on me.
I’m really trying not to fall off the deep end here, and I’m so glad I have you guys, and had you guys even help convince me to leave my first hurdle. I wouldn’t be on this journey without you guys helping me see, the light. Cuz I was convinced there wasn’t one. Thank you.
I’ll be taking some time. I realized (with therapists help) I’ve been using work as a reason to be too busy to face what I went through and work through my trauma.
I’ll reconvene with yall in a month. Right after my brother’s wedding. July 13th.
I appreciate you guys for getting me this far, I guess I just need to take the next few steps by myself.

Fuck… that really sucks… I am sorry to hear that (regarding your dad, obviously…). I am glad you did not give up! And I am also glad to hear you are aware of solving everything with alcohol is not the best solution in the long run, because that could bring you brand new struggle to your life… (Although… 🤔🤔 you could start to do 24 hours drunk streams… 😅😅 (sorry for my humour…))

Sorry to hear about your dad, that really sucks. I hope he heals and that so do you. Sending all the love from across the pond 🥰
