Interlude A Glimpse into the Life of Kirie
🕑 Added 2022-09-24 16:00:09 +0000 UTCThe young girl stretched and slipped out of her bed. As the sheets fell from her frame, the cool air kissed her bare skin. The very sensation helped wake her up a little. She yawned. A glance at the clock told her that she was up a little earlier than normal. It was kind of tempting to just crawl back into bed, and go back to sleep, but she knew if she did that she would oversleep. Especially considering it was only a quarter before her usual wake-up time.
Kirie slipped out of the room, as she considered today’s schedule. Mommy Maru was fairly strict. Something Kirie was quite familiar with. Oftentimes she wished that her Mommy Maru would give her a little more freedom like Larelu’s girls had. Speaking of Larelu her recent visit had actually been a lot of fun. Especially after Maru had joined that noisy sex pile in the main room. As that had allowed her to do what she wanted and really have fun for once.
She sighed. Too bad days like that were so rare. Not that complaining about it helped. Mommy Maru already knew she chafed against these restrictions, but her response was always the same.
Kirie tried to put it from her mind, and slipped into the bathroom. She turned the water on, and started drawing a bath. The one good thing about waking up early meant she had a little more time to enjoy a nice bath. A good long soak certainly sounded nice, and at this hour she wouldn’t be disturbed. At least not until her sisters started waking up. Once that happened it was going to start getting rather crowded in here. As the bathroom wasn’t very big, and she had to share it with two others. Thankfully she didn’t have to share it with all her sisters, but she sometimes wished she had a private bathroom.
As the bath filled up with warm water she took the time to use the toilet, and take care of her teeth. Her hair and fur could wait until after the bath. By the time she was done the tub was about half filled. She slipped into the water and relished the feeling of the hot water against her skin. It was one of the few luxuries she could freely enjoy which made it all the more enjoyable.
As she relaxed in the warm waters her mind drifted to today’s schedule. They were on break so there wasn’t any school today. That was one thing off her day. Unfortunately it had left more room in her schedule for one of mom’s arranged dates. They were often supervised directly by mom, but not always. Mom always made sure she had behaved herself afterward.
She sighed. She really didn’t want to go on another one of these. Her problem wasn’t the dates so much as the girls mom picked. She never liked any of them. Kirie knew why mom was doing this. What Mommy Maru wanted was for her to bond with someone. It was part of her plans, and Kirie had seen it with her older sisters. Maru made sure they kept in touch, but as soon as they were old enough they were allowed out for homes of their own. Albeit with mates chosen for them by Mommy Maru.
Kirie didn’t really like the idea of that. Her mind was reminded of Larelu’s children. Honestly she was jealous. They had more freedom. They could choose their mates, they did not have any of this arranged dating. Hell they even got to meet with their birth mothers. Kirie never got that luxury, she didn’t even know who her birth mother was. She wasn’t allowed to know, either.
She sighed, and grabbed a brush. The young girl had soaked long enough. Besides she needed to get started on her bathing or she would not be sufficiently presentable. This was such a pain. Another spike of jealousy made itself known as she was again compared how much better things were for Larelu’s daughters. She wished she was one of Larelu’s daughters. She wished someone would rescue her from this nightmare that was her life. Then she heard the sounds of her sister’s waking. With one last sigh, she took her thoughts and feelings on the matters and buried them. In the one little corner where they would be safe. The one little corner that Mommy Maru never seemed to reach. As she did so, she assumed the dutiful young girl persona that Mommy Maru wanted her to be. After all that corner was only part of her mind that was truly her own. The rest of her mind was open to Maru, and her manipulations.
