The One With All The Romance: Remake. Originally by Katie (Preview)

The original mod was broken at the 1.117 patch. As the creator quit the modding, I decided to adopt this wonderful mod, rewriting it from the scratch to deepen gameplay!
You can get the original version that was been patch-fixed without remaking, as well as the Parents mod, HERE.
And bear in mind, this update doesn't include negative interactions yet. I'll post it separately. Regarding to other mods, the friends' one is already updated and the parents' one will be updated and extended too!

So, what's new?
I mostly wanted to update this mod to take into account sims' personalities, dynamics, relationships, preferences and aspirations. As well as the in-game mechanics, I added my own too.
In short:
Relationship Goals and Wish of Having a Child dynamic tracking systems
Milestones do matter: get a partner's opinion on future together, having children or where they'd like to live, introduce a parner to a family and friends and get their opinion, multiple ways to confess in feelings with different outcomes
Enhanced gameplay experience with Lovestruck and Growing Together packs, taking personalities into account for compliments, romantic phrases and pick-up lines interactions
Learn another sim's aspiration, turn ons and turn offs, romance styles, gameplay traits and even what's their ideal first date through get to know interactions
Added support for other gameplay mods to make gameplay even more interesting
And here are the details!
Relationship Goals: Wants Serious / Frivolous Relationship
From their teens, sims start to prefer serious or frivolous relationships depending on their personality and age. After all, it's normal for teenagers to enjoy relationships without planning mortgages and children.
This affects what they dream of, such as moving to another town or having a child (these options are only available in serious relationships).
Sims may change the opinion as their grow older, change or discover a new personality, or experience a midlife crisis, or they satisfy or not in the relationships. Life is difficult, yknow?
Information about relationship goals can be obtained through the 'What Do You Want in a Relationship?' interaction in the 'Get To Know' category. This is a dynamic interaction, so the status of both the actor and the target may change according to the current data.
A sim may be happy if their goals match those of their (potential) partner or worried otherwise.
However, you can manually set this status for any sim using the 'Assign Relationship Goals Status' cheat. To do so, activate testingcheats true and Shift + click on the sim, you can find the cheat in the Mega Interactions category.
Milestones extended
I added some new milestones and gameplay for existed ones.
Discuss meeting friends, family, parents
Once sims are dating/engaged and close enough, you can select the preferred sims to introduce with 'Discuss Meeting Friends', 'Discuss Meeting Family' or 'Discuss Meeting Parents'.
Once this has been done, if your partner meets that sim (whether they are happy about this step in the relationship or not ;D), your sim can ask that friend, parent or family member what they think of the partner. I advise you to wait and let them getting to know each other better so they can say something for sure and not just 'Idk we haven't properly talked yet'.
The reaction depends on many things, including family dynamics, compatibility, friendship score, sentiments, and even First Impressions by Lumpinou. It also matters whose opinion you ask for – after all, your friend would describe your partner differently to your mum.
Depending on the reaction they faced, a sim may also feel relieved or angry.
If something went wrong. use the 'Clear Meeting with Loved Ones Status' cheat on the partner and remove a sim you want them to introduce.
These interactions require Growing Together EP.
Discuss which towns to live in together
If you use my Town Preferences mod, sims can ask their partner where they would be happy to live. When they are close enough and not in a frivolous relationship, they can use the 'Ask For An Opinion About Life In' interaction in the Milestones category. This option becomes available once your sim has at least one town in which they would like to live.
Select any town that your sim likes from the picker and observe their reaction! Your sim will react too. ;)
Wish of having children
Don't get me wrong; I'm not planning to replace the awesome RPO mod by Lumpinou – it's far too ambitious ;D
It's a simpler system with fewer details, and it doesn't affect pregnancy or parenting behaviour. However, it's dynamic too, depending on the sim's personality and preferences. It may also change due to ageing, midlife crises and self-discovery.
You might like it if you don't want to use the RPO mod for some reason, or if you want to add some interpersonal experience before sims know about pregnancy.
When sims are close enough and not in frivolous relationships, they may discuss whether they want to have a child with the 'Ask If Sim Name Wants To Have Child'. At this point, both sims 'rethink' having a child. If they both agree or disagree, well done! Otherwise, they will worry about the future of their relationship.
Yes, both mods are fully compatible. This mod uses the RPO wish system for these discussions if you have the M1 module.
If you don't use the M1 module from the RPO mod, you can manually set up the wish for any sim – otherwise, set preferences via the RPO's interactions. With testingcheats enabled, Shift + click on the desired Sim and select 'Assign Wish of Children Status' from the Mega Interactions category.
Discuss future together
If your sims are dating, they may ask their partner what the future holds for them with the 'Discuss Future Together' interaction. Depending on various factors (trust me, nothing in my mods works randomly, so bear this in mind every time ;D), and whether they're interested in serious or frivolous relationships, you'll receive different answers. Your sim will react too, depending on their plans.
Confess the Love!
There are several ways to confess your feelings. If sims are good friends and develop a romantic relationship, they can confess with the 'What If We Were Together?' interaction in the 'Friends to Lovers' category.
Otherwise, they can say 'I love you' if they have strong feelings, or 'I think I'm falling in love with you' if they're not quite there yet.
All of these interactions could lead to the start of a relationship – or a rejection! However, the reactions will differ.
Whether or not the confession is successful, a special status will be displayed on that sim's profile.
Pick-up, compliments and romantic are suitable
All of these interactions are now available based on personalities, relationships, preferences and sometimes even skills! I mean, I can't believe that any random NPC on the street could easily say 'YoU MAke tiME STop ANd Fly At tHE sAMe Time' ;D So, sims should master their romance or writing skills! Things should be made a bit easier for romantic sims (I'm not just talking about this one trait).
Some phrases may be too cringeworthy or specific, which is why sims may ignore them. Don't expect a technophobe to flirt by mentioning Wi-Fi. No.
The same goes for Proper sims – they will only comment on another sim's breasts in very specific circumstances (one of these is the discomfort-sexual desire moodlet from the WickedWhims, but I didn't tell you that). Sims with the Hungry for Love lifestyle don't understand that, though.
I guess these examples explain what to expect from your pixel lovers.
Get to Know – for real!
I have redesigned almost all of the 'get to know' interactions so that they really allow you to gain a better understanding of that sim. Ask about their biggest dream to find out the aspiration; ask about the values that are important to them to find out turn on / turn off for some characteristics (if they have it); ask about their love language to find out what their romance style is. And so on.
Bonus! If you have the 'Movie Hangout Stuff' pack, the 'What Movie Can You Quote Most Lines From?' interaction will decide the favourite movie genre of both your active and target sims if they don't have one yet, and you'll even receive the name of their favourite movie. Alternatively, you can find out if a sim doesn't like movies. Don't judge them!
Extended by extension packs gameplay
This mod is still Base Game compatible, but it's much more interesting if you have the 'Lovestruck' and the 'Growing Togeher' packs. And 'Movie Hangout Stuff' (sorry it's kinda my favorite part of code :D)

INSTALLATION
If you still don't have REQUIREMENTS for all Mega Interactions mod from 27.10.2025 update, then download it and unzip it in the Mods folder no deeper than one subfolder. Make sure you don't have older versions!
Unzip the mod's archive in the Mods folder. If you don't have the 27.10.2025 updated version, then remove the older one and reinstall!

I now downloaded the one with all the romance remade,the one with all the romance neg reactions, the one where they are friends and the loving parents one. I had it working before I'm very confused and sad it doesn't now.
