The old sketches (2016-2018)
🕑 Added 2022-12-27 20:53:45 +0000 UTCWell, one of the main reasons for opening boosty/patreon was my decision to share exclusive sketches of my original story "Roulette", and since I haven't a lot of... umm... new works, I decided to share with you old content that I haven't posted anywhere yet. Mostly, these are sketches of the 2016-2018s. I'm not sure I'll ever be able to finish them but I'd still like to show them to you.
1. Training fight between Sarlekh and Isherosa (Tren's real name).
I drew this sketch in 2018, when I suddenly decided to seriously start working on the design of several more characters of the Nirsh'ari race. Sarlekh is Tren's former partner. They grew up and studied together and also they supported each other.
2. Sad and sick Archie with Tren who's comforting him.
I clearly remember that I made this sketch in 2016. I've been ill for a long time and I wanted to pour out my soul through my lovely "children". Let them suffer too *achievement Mother of the Year unlocked*. In fact, Archie has quite a few health problems, including mental ones, so according to the canon he has to be comforted quite often.
3. Coffee and tenderness.
Forgotten sketch of the 2018. Tren almost always lacks attention, so he shamelessly likes to disturb Archie, waiting for a gentle scratches.
4. The first concept of matriarch Nebelis.
2018. The first sketches with Nebelis - Tren's mother. The strict and very domineering woman, the exact opposite of her son.
5 and 6. The riding creature for Archie.
The lazy attempts to make an unique design for the beast named Jerra - a combination of lion, bear and lizard (2017-2018, I don't really remember). This species lives on the desert planet and it's extremely difficult to tame, but with due patience it can become a faithful companion for the rest of it's life. Archie picked up Jerra while he was serving in the Alliance and when his teammate was a co-pilot named Harmund Becker. But this is just a first experimental sketch and I don't know when I make the final design.
7 and 8. A healer/shaman from a desert planet.
Sketches of the 2016-2018. A sullen lady without a name and race. She lives on the same desert planet as the animal above. She leads a reclusive way of life, she's stubborn and rude, but she is always willing to help anyone who politely asks her about it. I hope that I will be able to finish these refs one day. I really liked her design when I was changing some details for publication.
