Unexpected Down time

The damage to my car didn't seem all that bad and I was more concerned with the mental state of the young woman (Teen) driver who was on the verge of tears. Turns out the damage was worse than I knew. My car is totaled. Insurance is cutting me a check for the cars value (2012 Subaru Outback with less than 75K on it). I have to buy a new car. I'm kinda stressed out at the moment. I hate bringing up personal matters on the Patreon. I just don't want you to think I'm neglecting you. Between catching up on comics and buying a new car, posts are going to be delayed more than they already have.
But Schools going to be back in session soon and that means
QUIET TIME AT HOME AGAIN! yay!
I can comfortable draw naked people again! WHEEEEE!!
I always get back on track in August. I'm going to take some time to get things straightened out here and come back stronger and better.
Keep on reading and I'll keep on making comics.

Is it not possible to buy the car back from the insurance. Insurers write cars off if the damage is more than the car is worth to them
