State of the Patreon (12/17/19)
🕑 Added 2019-12-17 21:10:05 +0000 UTCFirst of all, a hearty “Happy Holidays” to our loyal patrons! Thanks to you, this page is becoming a true labor of love. It’s hard work, sure, but your patronage validates our efforts and makes us want to create even more.
With that in mind, here’s a fattening taste of what you can expect over the holidays and in the New Year:
* Both Tina and the plot are thickening in our weekly serial, “The Harem on the Hill”! Don’t expect a speedy “resolution” in the New Year either. You’re going to face important decisions in 2020--affecting elections and erections!
* “The Middle Manager,” a collaborative effort with our good friend Magmaman, will make its Patreon debut on Saturday, December 21. Just a few days away! In the meantime, nibble on an appetizer here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/coming-december-31884813
* We’re right on the cusp of our next goal: commissioned illustrations! We’ve already reached out to a few artisans but would love recommendations for others. Variety is the spice of life, and we’d love to establish working relationships with numerous artists and illustrators for future projects.
* In the coming weeks, Riptoryx and I will choose our next goal. What do you think? Narrated stories? Another adventure game? Something else entirely? We’re building this with you in mind, so feel free to chime in!
* Spend lots of time with your loved ones over the holidays, but once they’re nestled all snug in their beds, spend some time with us. We may have a few other surprises for your stocking!
* And don’t expect us to reduce in the New Year! Plenty of weighty content is already in production/post-production.
2019 is ending on a high note and next year looks even better (and that’s not just “2020 hindsight”)! Thanks for making it all possible.

Maverick and Riptoryx
Well, if we're talking "games" like Maverick's "One Night Adventure," these games are still mostly stories but gussied up with minor interactive feature. It's certainly not a test of twitch reflexes or anything like that. The idea is that folks who like weight gain stories probably will find these things approachable and likeable, too. I think the folks that have gotten their hands on "One Night Adventure" have liked it, overall. That said, I don't mean to discount the merits of a good old fashioned written narrative format. On the contrary, my inclination is that most stories tend to be better presented in that traditional, basic written format, at least for our purposes. Using a "game" type format, though, can provide some different creative options that may be especially well-suited for particular projects. I've got one of those in mind right now. ; ) -Riptoryx
